Many great things like the staff, size of rooms, clean bedding, ample underground parking. A few things were off putting. We had to walk a good distance from lobby to take elevator up to our floor and elevators were slow. The room was amazing in terms of size but furniture was dated and carpets stained in areas. Bathroom had mold in a few areas and shower was tiny (not small…tiny). I would definitely stay again given it’s well priced.

The hotel has good size of rooms for a family of 4 and that is the main reason why we stay here on a few occasions each year. Unfortunately though we had room service for the first time on this visit and after an hour of trying to place an order it arrived cold 😔and with only two sets of cutlery for a family of 4. We also find dirty laundry and rubbish bags outside lifts we go for breakfast or check out in the mornings.

Shower head missing in our room 218 which made it near impossible to shower as the pressure of the water coming out was too strong. Beds very hard with no extra pillows in the room

Shocking. Booked 2 rooms for daughters birthday.. Emailed before visit to confirm we didnt have to book the pool.. We didnt. Got there, checked in, went swimming, got out ready to go for evening meal, you have to book the bar/restaurant area. At no stage during booking, emails or check in were we told this. The children had to eat in the bedroom. We spent the evening in the bedroom. Husband had to walk up and down floors and corridors to get a pint. We paid good money to go swimmimg and sit in room. Save your money and stay at home. The children were very disappointed with the whole hotel experience. 2 adults 4 children adjoining rooms.

Had a lovely room but walking through the corridor each time workers all over the place the whole floor was been renovated should have cordoned off that floor unsafe, also has to be the most expensive hotel for a bite to eat, OUTRAGEOUS PRICES and for that reason I would never book there again

Horrible customer service. Took me over 45 min to check in. Elevators were all shut down as they were being used by the employees. Ordered a pizza...only took 90 min to get to us. Insane price for the quality. Only positive was a waitress named Jess.

I booked a superior room, unfortunately my room had two adjoining doors to the rooms on either side, and as a result I found the room to be very noisy. Big thanks to Deborah for re-locating me to a quieter room when I raised this with reception. Another member of staff delivered the new key card to my room to save me from travelling to reception. The adjoining gym is pretty good.

I had booked a suite, the room was very large but in need of a refurb. It was freezing cold and draughty. Complained in numerous,6 or 7, times that the heating didn't work, sent me two totally inadequate electric heaters but didn't fix the heating .... After 3 days I got hold of the housekeeping manager who actually got some of the radiators working. One evening water started pouring through the bathroom ceiling, room upstairs has let the bath overflow as the plugs are difficult to use Rang down and told them, after 1 hour.... someone came and mopped up. The only restaurant that was open is expensive little choice and not great quality. Breakfast is adequate but chef can't cook poached eggs... wouldn't stay here again.

We had a very good stay yet again ,found the restaurant staff most obliging and accommodated us for food on Sat evening after a very busy day at National finals.Breakfast staff also very good and helpful,overall we were very happy. stayed for 3 nights, no one came in to replace our towels/clean our bedding. i didn’t expect them to every night but once out of 3 nights would’ve been nice. apart from that lovely stay, breakfast was lovely, staff got us in our room promptly and were accommodating apart from cleaning rooms.

Room smelt of weed, sticky stain on the carpet, hair on bath Matt. Stayed here before and experience was totally different a year ago. Lady at lunchtime was super helpful. On collecting my bag from the cupboard on late check in there was no help in moving 6 large cases to get to mine. Breakfast staff were helpful, but the experience was chaotic. The coffee sooooo strong it was unpleasant.

The self check in did not work however the ladies on reception made check-in easy. One of the lifts someone had been sick in it, we notified reception and the receptionist made a call to housekeeping to get it dealt with. We were on the top floor, at first look the room was perfect but realised that there was a lot of stains on the carpet and also on the wall. The large windows flodded the room with light which was great but the room was bitter cold when we came back in later in the evening. In the morning we were woke but the daylight coming through the sides of the blackout curtains, the curtains did not make a complete seal at either side of the wondow (good job we didnt want a lie in) The bathroom the next morning had a smell possibly stagnant water. This ruined what should of been an enjoyable night away with my daughter, when checking out we were not asked how our stay was which was disappointing and the self check out did not work.

Hotel is clean & well maintained. Staff very friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Small issue with the ticket barriers for the car park not accepting my ticket but was quickly resolved. Really enjoyable stay. Highly recommended

I was surprised at the evident wear and tear and shabbiness of the hotel. Repainting in foyer and reception but no sign of same in corridors and bedroom. Carpets need a good clean and shower curtains should be replaced. Couldn’t provide a receipt to reflect what I paid for the night booked through this site and I didn’t find staff particularly helpful. They kept referencing an error made by a colleague who checked me in!

Very clean and well maintained property. Restaurant was too expensive however. A microwave in the room would have been appreciated. Overall a good stay. It was difficult to figure out the lay of the property to find my way around.

Had a great stay.
Had a great stay, enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Room had everything we needed and was clean and spacious. We were able to get check out moved to a slightly later time too which made the trip even more enjoyable.

Conveniently located near the M6 and M50; and it is a quick trip to the City Centre. Comfortable rooms with all of the amenities that you would expect. Great value.
