Upon check in host gave a tour of the property and gave a bunch of recommendations of things in the area that were worth checking out. The house had plenty of room for the 5 of us was well maintained. Host was friendly, communicative, and helpful The place is located next to several transit stops that made it easy to get to any part of the city quickly. Also it was quite easy to walk to most places in Dublin given how centrally located the place is. Our flight out of Dublin was pretty early (2 in the morning) and the host was able to offer a solution of the check out being that early. John is an amazing host. One of the coolest homes we’ve ever stayed in. It’s in immaculate condition, maintained beautifully. There were fresh flowers placed all throughout which was such a nice touch. All of the furniture and decorations felt so well thought out, like a curated space in a museum. The back garden area was a dream come true for those who want to spend some time outside but be covered from the elements should there be inclement weather. John met us at the house to check us in showed us around to tell us how a few things worked. He has a long list of places to check out, pubs to visit, restaurants to eat at. We went to a lot of his suggested areas and every single one of them were spot-on wonderful. He even invited us to join him for a walk in the Dublin Botanic Gardens, which was so generous and unexpected. Big rooms, 1 large bathroom, nice kitchen and eating/gathering space. Host John is very gracious and a great communicator! Lots of recommendations from him. Location is 20--30 walk to central Dublin or you can hop on public transportation easily. Sleeps 6 comfortably. One bathroom can be challenging for a full house. Parking on the street is open and easy. Kitchen has lots of amenities that are great for saving money on eating out. We made breakfast and dinner almost every day. We walked everywhere. John was there to greet us on the first day and he was so accommodating. He actually brought us on a tour of the neighborhood on the second day. The property manager reached out several times to check on us and give suggestions for nearby places to visit that were not as touristy. The neighborhood was dirty but not sure I could take a star off for that since the seagulls are to blame, kind of. I did take one star off for the mattresses. We all woke up daily with pain in our backs. Overall we all had a wonderful time. ##### Heather B.
