"Great find "
This is a great hotel with easy access to/from the airport and Dublin. There's a shuttle for the airport that takes you really close to the Glashaus (- 5 minutes walk) and picks you back up there to the airport. It's about 30 minutes to get to Dublin by tram (Luas) and the stop is right besides the hotel. The only problem we had was with the heating. We set it to 21 degrees, but woke up in the middle of the night sweating because it was 28 (first night ) and 30 (2nd night) in the room.... Overall, if you don't want to pay big bucks for a room downtown and don't mind the easy commute, the Glashaus is definitely a great choice.

"Horse Racing Weekend"
The hotel is easy to find and is huge in size. It serves a number of conferences and tour companies and at times is very busy in the bar area. Bar staff were very helpful however breakfast staff are stressed and not helpful. We stayed for breakfast once and booked 2 full English and a continental. There were no croissants at 9 and when we asked for some the staff said that's it they are gone. We were not served coffee and when we asked were told it would come shortly. I'm glad I didn't hold my breath! We also found the cost of the breakfast very expensive at 15 euros. Overall however the staff were friendly and helpful but don't expect to feel special as they are serving the masses. The spa is attached to the hotel. You have to book a swim time (1 hour slots) but can only do this on the day you wish to swim. Swim hats, flip flops are compulsory however a number of people were allowed enter without these items which I found disappointing after the staff mad me purchase for my family. The room is very spacious but above head height everything was very dusty. Not sure if at 6 ft I have a different view but the room itself was dusty. Shampoo's are available when arrive in the room but they are not replaced so we had to purchase shampoo! There was a wedding on the Saturday night and unfortunately the music went on until late which disturbed our sleep.

"Value for money"
We arrived late into Dublin so this hotel was perfect as we were heading to Cork a couple of days later. Their team from reception to housekeeping we're professional and friendly. There's not much nearby but the LUAS is a 10 minute walk away into town. Great value for money and we would have no hesitation in staying here again.
