We have taken note of your comments regarding the extra fees and would like to clarify that the additional charges were 5% VAT, 7% Municipal fee, 10% Service charge and AED.10/- tourism Fee by Dubai Government which was exclusive of the room rent. With regards to parking please note we have a leased out parking space to provide additional service to our room guest for their convenience for valet parking and we have a minimal charge towards the same. We do hope that the above experience and misunderstanding about the charges will not deter you from visiting our hotel in the future and you will allow us the opportunity to restore your confidence in the hospitality the hotel is renowned for. Dear Guest, Greetings Many thanks for your review towards your stay at Palm Beach Hotel. We have gone through your comments and have come across the fact that there was an issue with the Locker which you had informed to the reception and the same was replaced with another locker. Post your review we had done a check with our chief engineer and have found out that the air-condition and refrigerator are in good working condition. Also would like to mention that the same room was later occupied by other guest and we had no complaints on the issues mentioned by you. However with regards to services issues and breakfast we could have assisted and resolved the same during your two days stay at the hotel have you had informed us at the same time. However we will discuss with our F&B team to rework the menu with better options. With regards to the parking it was informed to you upon arrival that there will be a charge and it was your decision either to take it or not and the hotel had no dispute on the same as it was not forced upon you and was merely your call on the same. Dear Mr. AAmir, You had requested a late checkout for 6PM, and you agreed to pay the late check out fees of AED 200. You arrived back to the hotel to check out at 9PM, as a courtesy we did not charge you extra. We fail to understand how you are accusing the hotel for charging you extra money and missing your flight when it was you who checked out late.
