We had an excellent stay at the Atana. The entire staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Assisting in helping us with places to go and transportation. We stayed here a week and was so convenient to get around either by taxi or the train 2 blocks away.

All staff were great. However our fridge was not working. Eventhough we asked for it to be replaced we got told it cannot perform magic. Hence the low score for facilities. In warm climate you need a fridge that keeps drinks cool.

We only stayed here for a single night, but after specifically asking to put a card on file for incidentals (the room was paid in advance), I was disappointed to find that various staff members, from room service to breakfast INSISTED on cash or card payment at the time of the transaction. This resulted in some back and forth until colleagues at reception intervened and asked the outlets to post our charges to the room. The hotel lobby is well done and a rather lively place. The rooms felt dated and a bit tired but were clean and in good repair. Breakfast on a Saturday morning was busy. With an influx of guests arriving just before breakfast closed at 10:30am, I expected a longer extension of the breakfast timing… that was not the case for more than 10/15 minutes…. During which the food was allowed to dwindle without being refreshed. Go well before 10am for the most options.

Breakfast Management is a mess
Although this is a good hotel with comfortable rooms, it has major management issues, specifically the breakfast was terrible We stayed 5 nights here after spending 10 other nights in other 4 star hotels in Dubai so we were able to clearly see the issues are rising from miss-management not because of lack of resources and employees. Other hotels with similar number of staff during breakfast were able to give excellent experience but in this hotel there was no protocol, guest were standing for 15 minutes waiting for coffee or toast etc. buffet food items, dishes were remaining empty for very long periods, at 10:30 they were taking every remaining item without paying attention to guests that still were standing waiting for bread or food or coffee. tables were remaining full of empty dishes I guest were needed to clean up tables for themselves. other less important issues: although they have the best pool, pool water was very cold with no sunlight/ no guest could use the pool, steam rooms were broken Atana has great potential, I sincerely ask hotel owner to bool and stay for couple nights in "Holliday Inn" and spend extended time during breakfast and observe their operation (maybe hire their manager as temporary consultant)

Tried to manually take a payment from my card that i used once in the hotel as a contactless payment it only failed as expiry was wrong - very concerning. Hotel could provide no answer initially blaming expedia / hotel.com even though i paid with a voucher

We had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. Our room was spacious and clean. Our room faced the freeway/highway though and was very noisy all hours of the day including through the night. Noise doesn't bother us, 2nd night we didn't notice it as bad. Our room attendant was lovely and gave me the extra items I needed with a cheerful smile and courteous nature. Check in wasnt very welcome though. Busy hotel though. Not much around the hotel just other hotels. There is a day spa that is open long hours in the hotel, which I didn't get time to use for your reference.

Property was nice and reception was friendly.It was my second stay at this hotel i noticed there were no welcome drinks offered this time. The breakfast was great however omlete section needs improvement. My only complain is the rude and aggressive behavior by the life guard at the pool.The guy had no manners and no training on how to talk to customers .He made the stay at pool horrible and was very rude. I would refrain from staying at this property again as the comfort of pool was totally lost during my stay.

A bunch of things broken in the room (outlets). And because the hallways are extremely cold and i put my room at normal livable temperatures, it would get the condensation from the hallway, and the door to the hallways was always wet and the whole room in moist mist.

I had to wait a while for checking because they gave away my room. The room that i had booked was a different view. They should have stated that balcony doesn’t open up to sit outside.

This location was a great starting location to explore Dubai. There's a shuttle that brings you to several location including Mall of Emirates and JBR. There are a few grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. The pool, sauna, and gym are really nice. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable, the shower very clean, and housekeeping and hotel staff were kind, patient, and excellent. Standout housekeeper was Bittu. Thank you for our great stay and we would definitely stay again when revisiting Dubai.

Great stay; I’ll stay again.
Excellent location, lots of parking and very well run hotel. Breakfast was excellent and very accommodating for any requests.
