Fantastic destination to explore Dubai

Posted 10-Apr-2016
Pros: Location, kids swimming pool, variety of breakfast, complimentary coffee tea and soft drinks, jacuzzi, unlimited access to Wild Wadi.
Cons: Rooms to be cleaned under the bed daily ( it was dusty after 2 days), it seems the cleaning staff ignored this area.
Location: Close to the airport, the Dubal Mall, Dubai Delfinarium, Burj Khalifa, Dubai fountains, Creek Park
The hotel is away from the beach but it ia ar very easy access ( by taxi or free shuttle) to the Dibai Mall, Burj Khalifa. Also a short taxi ride to Creek park with lots of activity for kids. The bonus is an unlimited access to Wild Wadi Water park. The rooms are clean, staff is helpful, the size of kids swimming pool is fantastic. As well as, there is a free soft drink mini bar, tea coffee and mineral water all the time. Wifi in the hotel and in your room are at good speed.

Good hotel, but watch the credit card holds.

Posted 16-Mar-2016
Pros: Location, Concierge, Price
Cons: See comments about the experience. The free hotel shuttle runs on a schedule and it is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Get in line 30 minutes early.
Location: Restaurants within walking distance, small grocery store close, ATM close.
Overall, the Jumeriah Creekside is good hotel. One main issue: Upon check-in, I was advised that a 1,000 AED (about $270ish US) credit card hold would be placed on my card - for incidentals. This was no big deal. Later that night I got an email notification from my CC company for that hold amount PLUS a second hold for an additional $6,000 AED (about $1,650ish US). I immediately went to the front desk to inquire. The staff told me that the representative that checked me made a mistake. The staff kindly removed the second hold - and they removed the initial $1,000 AED hold as well - as a good faith gesture - which I appreciated. Not a good way to start a "relaxing" vacation. When I checked out, I asked how such a mistake could happen. I was told that more than likely, the additional hold was placed on the card because they thought the room was not paid-in-full. When a room is not paid-in-full, it is the hotel policy to place a hold on the card equivalent to the potential room charges. The thing is, we were paid-in-full months ago, and the guy at check-in new this. I know he was aware of it because we discussed it when we checked in. While holds are not charges, many cards apply hold amounts towards your available credit limit. Make sure to double check any holds placed against your card by Jumeriah Creekside.

Favorite Hotel In Dubai

Posted 11-Mar-2016
Pros: Location is very close to the airport, free shuttle to the Dubai mall, and the water park.
Cons: Nothing I can think of righ now.
Location: Malls are not to far away, several restaurants close by within walking distance, and a Huka bar close by, just past the Irish Village.
Every time I travel to Dubai I try to stay at this hotel. I like everything about it, location is good, food is good, pool is good Rooms are large and very nice, everything you need for a great stay. Hotel staff are excellent, try to make sure everything is just right. Breakfast buffet is good also, having dinner in the hotel is a great idea, menu is pretty diverse. If yoir an art lover they usually have some type of exhibit going on. And for the fan of Irish Pubs there is one next to the hotel. The bar on the 8th floor is very nice you can see the sky line of Dubai great place to be when the sun is going down. I will be back in Dubai in a few months I will stay here again for sure.

Pros:

Great Hotel.

Posted 26-Feb-2016
Location: Perfect as we love to play tennis and enjoy the Irish village and surrounding restaurants.
We wanted to be near the Dubai Duty Free Tennis tournament and this hotel was the host hotel for the event. My wife was very happy as she saw many of the professional tennis players that she follows. They were staying in the same hotel.

Best hotel we have ever stayed at!

Posted 23-Feb-2016
Pros: Spacious rooms, service, very comfortable beds, fantastic shower. This hotel has thought about everything to make their guests feel like home.
Cons: The variety offered at breakfast was fantastic and most things I tried were pretty good. The only thing that could be improved is the scrambled eggs.
Location: 10 min walk to Metro - a great and fast way to explore the main sights in Dubai. The Metro is cheap, offers frequent trains and super modern and clean
We love this hotel. The location is great, Metro is about a 10 min walk away, and the hotel is about a 5-10 min drive from the airport. We stayed at two different occasions within one week and were upgraded to a suite twice. The Suite was extremely spacious and very beautifully decorated. The bed is super comfortable, the shower is fantastic, and the bathroom very spacious with a gorgeous bath tub. The refrigerator is stocked with drinks and they are free. The hotel provides daily bottled water. We loved the Illy espresso machine as well. The fitness center is one of the best we have ever seen in a hotel, offering free classes from Zumba, to yoga, or Pilates. The steam bath and sauna is great. We also enjoyed the pool with the very comfortable sun beds. The hotel staff is very professional, polite and helpful. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. If we ever go back to Dubai, we will stay at this hotel again.

Hotel - Preis Leistung ist OK.

Posted 15-Feb-2016
