Nice hotel with very attentive staf. Cheene was very helpful and friendly. Ville beach restaurant has nice view and good food.

Pros: Everything
Cons: The air con in the room difficult to operate.
Location: Wild wadi is a must! Poolside ice lollies to cool you down too! Restaurants on site plenty of choice fabulous quality mostly. Fruit and water each day
All staff are excellent food quality overall great. The maintenance/ location excellent now hotel is 20 years old.

Lovely hotel with own private beach

Pros: Great service & excellent room with a view
Cons: Don't think anything needs to be improved but maybe jet skis out of the harbour
Location: Location very good water park next door 2 shopping malls nearby
We had a short stay at the jumeirah beach hotel, it was very good & brilliant location, would recommend this hotel

Superb facilities, hotel, food, beaches and access to wide range of different shopping and leisure experiences.

Wonderful hotel

Our holiday began the moment we saw the smiling Hotel representative for our transfer. This was included in the Club room and was easily arranged via email with the hotel. The driver was waiting in arrivals and showed us to an awaiting Lincoln Navigator. He was friendly and gave us water and a cold towel. Check in was quick and easy. We had upgraded to a Club room when booking and this was definitely worth it for the extras. The room was large with wonderful floor to ceiling views. It was cleaned daily with a turn down service in the evening. You have access to the Club lounge and Executive pool. We used the lounge on the 24th Floor where the staff were always polite and helpful. We had daily complimentary afternoon tea between 3-5pm; and happy hour drinks between 6-8pm. We used the Executive pool where you are shown to your choice of loungers and provided with a cooler box of water. This location, pool and beach are wonderful with plenty of loungers. The choice of restaurants are vast as you can also eat in the neighbouring sister hotels. We were half board and were given vouchers to use for either lunch or dinner. We ate breakfast at Latitudes where the choice was enormous! There is a free shuttle to the Mall of the Emirates and then you can get a Metro from there to the Downtown area. There are buggies from the hotel to the neighbouring Madinat hotel which has a Souk market. If you show your room key, there is a complimentary Abra boat around the canals from the Souk.

Nice Hotel Fantastic facilities

Pros: Facilities, water park, clean beaches, service
Cons: Cost of drinks & food at the hotel restaurants, slightly over priced when you could get better value down the road or in Mail across street
Location: Location is Ideal for beach and easy access to the main city venues, local attractions are easily accessed by taxi or bus
Our second time in Dubai, stayed in the Marina resort last time, hotel staff were very helpful we would use this venue again as a place to stay, very close to all the main attractions in Dubai

Nice hotel but ridiculously overpriced

A modern clean hotel with very efficient staff. However only go if you are all inclusive/half board. We made the mistake of paying for room only, and nearly had to declare bankruptcy on our return! If you are happy to pay £9 for a coffee, £15 for a beer and £30 for a glass of wine, this is your place. If not, go elsewhere! Food is also expensive- a pizza and burger round the pool cost £70. The main restaurants are even more expensive...

Certainly not Five Star or Remotely Luxury

Cons: Everything!!!
Our stay at the JB Hotel was less than impressive and the service (or should I say lack of service) from Expedia was equally as poor. The Hotel is tired, dated and reception staff not very helpful! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. 3 stars at most. We checked in early after a night flight (with a 3yr old) to be told that we had to wait until 3pm to check in. Whilst it's company policy to not check until 3pm we emailed days ahead to see what was possible. Given that this hotel is (apparently) luxury, 5 star I would of expected something a little more. When asked if there was anywhere in the hotel that we could go and rest we were told no! We were repeatedly told that Bfast was not inc on the 1st day due to our check in time? Again hardly 5 star resort treatment. We sat in the reception area for hours before getting our room. We found a table of Fruit and Luke warm water for tea however this was not pointed out by anyone in the hotel? The biggest disappoint was the room check in. Rooms are tired, dated, stained furniture and extremely underwhelming for the price. The staff member that escorted me to the room informed me that all of the rooms were being refurbished in Feb!? Although this was not shown on the website? I've experienced 5 star but this was far from it. Maybe in 97 when it was built but it clearly needs to learn a thing or two on modern day luxury and service. No Water Park open (again zero comms) and loud Music until the the early hours from the pool bar.
