I had a disappointing check-in experience at the hotel. As an Expedia gold member, I was expecting to receive an upgrade, subject to availability. Surprisingly, there was an available upgrade, but the hotel staff informed me that I needed to be a gold member with their specific program. I requested, at the very least, a room with a view, highlighting my status as an Expedia gold member. However, the receptionist signed me up for their membership, even though I already had a membership with Expedia. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with an excessive amount of paperwork to sign. While the hotel itself was decent, I believe there is room for improvement in their services. They should be more accommodating to guests who come from different platforms with various memberships. It's disheartening that, despite being a loyal Expedia member since 2010, I was treated in such a manner simply because I didn't make a direct reservation with the hotel.

Staff are wonderful, Mani at the pool bar, Adkil at Vasco de gama and all staff in the sports bar ans restaurants. Plenty of options for pools, lots of sun beds and the resort is very clean. Unfortunate to have the building work going on, would have been better doing this in the summer with kess oeople around.

It was a nice 2 days as a family we spent at the hotel. One room was not ready at the time of check in which is first time i’m facing this issue. But overall it was good.

Great place out of the way though it was close to small palm but was wrong. If I had checked I would have stayed closer to Dubai and Atlantis. Don’t have your clothes washed there they charge way too much.

False advertising . Requested and paid for a deluxe room sea view room . I was offered a deluxe room with no view or a regular room with a view . Despite payment being taken . Their facilities are not very handicap friendly .

The resort was very pleasant! I was happily surprised by the quality of the good. Sometimes resort food can be hit or miss, but this resort had fantastic food! We chose the half-board option because we weren't planning on drinking much and it was a good deal. However, one thing I didn't realize is that some activities like kayaking are included with the full all-inclusive package, so that is something to consider when choosing your package. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would wish for is more available drinking water. The staff was very helpful when asked, but I would have much preferred stations with water bottles or water available to fill reusable bottles.

Did not meet expectations
Weekend end getaway. Older hotel and quite secluded. Hotel breakfast buffet was good but the evening buffet was overpriced and not of a good quality with limited choices. Bed was comfortable. Beach was very nice but would not stay again. Views from their beach was basically of a industrial shipping port. Overall not what was expected from the hotels write ups.

We were overall very pleased with our stay. Staff are the best asset as they could not do enough to help us anytime we needed anything. We travelled with a baby and there was a travel cot provided however there was no mattress in this cot so the baby was basically sleeping on the floor within a cot which wasn't so comfortable for him. The room is exceptionally small with luggage and a stroller as well as a cot too. Food in the sports bar was 1 star at best... Which was so disappointing. Same for the kids food in captains bar. The buffet however was amazing for breakfast and dinner... Zero complaints and super service from omkar and team. We did not receive our complimentary upgrade as vip Expedia guests and we would have really have appreciated the extra space.

Lovely hotel, but the location wise isn't the best as it's too far from Dubai. Excellent staff, but the cutleries smelled like eggs that my husband and I hated. We stayed over for five days, and every day we had the same problem with the cutleries. I wouldn't say the food tasted good, but overall the staff were very polite.

Out of this world!
The Beach Hotel and The Resort are just sublime. The food is outstanding, the guest experience is out of this world. This is a go to destination. The choice of activities, (many are free), places to eat, selection of drinks will be hard to be beaten anywhere!

An amazing stay at this beautiful resort! The room was compact, cosy, fresh and well equiped. The balcony was lovely. The free Winter Winderland evening was fantastic. Such a great array of drinks and canapes and all for free...very kind and generous! The Italian restaurant was amazing and good value, however, the Tapas restaurant was quite over priced. The breakfast room was very comfortable. Great selection of food and lovely staff. Captain's Bar was great for lunches. I realised on 2nd day that I could receive Emirates Skywards points. The waiter allowed me to add points for both days. Pool are very nice and comfortable. Only downside was the beach, which is part of Jebal Ali. Views not great, but would pay a lot more for hotels on Jumairah beach. Sunbeds plentiful though. A great stay. Would definitely return . Thank you
