Perfect location unhelpful staff, hotel too full
The first day of our holiday was great, our room was a good size and had decent views. However on the second day my partner fell ill with food poisoning ( not from food from the hotel). The hotel paramedic came to our room and measured his blood pressure and took his temperature. Was told his temperature was borderline and that he could not confirm it was food poisoning without taking samples for analysis. He gave us paracetamol and hydration sachets. Within 15 minutes of the Paramedic leaving his condition worsened , I called back and was greeted with " yes you are calling again". I explained his condition was worsening and that the medication they had given was not helping I was told that someone would come to my room, their tone was as though I was bothering them. Over 40 minutes passed and no one came. I then had to call my mother half way across the world Who advised me to go to concierge and ask for the number for an outside pharmacy to bring immodium to the hotel which costed a fortune.
queue to be seated for breakfast was ridiculous. It was also overpacked where you had to try and avoid bumping into people. Foods such as waffle and pancakes dishes were frequently empty. It got to the point where I dreaded going to the restaurant for breakfast and although breakfast was included in my package I could only bear to go two of the four nights that I stayed at the atlantis
Room service salad did not match what it said on the menu. After I complained no one called Back.
