Room was ok but private bathroom was next door. There was only sink in my room. The front bell did not work so I couldn't get in. Fortunately some of guest who was coming back from somewhere let me in.

Our Stay in Dover

Posted 14-Jul-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: It is an English B & B in Dover.
Location: Great location, walk-able distance to the Town Centre. Easy drive to the Dover Castle and the many walks around the Cliffs.
The Westbank Guest house was reasonably priced. We were lucky enough to park in one of five secured car parks behind closed gates. If you are an older couple request a room on one of the lower floors. I was on the top floor with only stairs to access it. The location is very central and the owners were great and very friendly. We had a beautiful home cooked breakfast in the morning. The Westbank Guest House is an easy drive to the many tourist attractions around the area.

Well-managed B&B in convenient location.

Posted 05-Jul-2017
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff; clean; modern en-suite bathroom; good breakfast cooked to order; convenient location
Cons: Better lighting in the room eg another table/standard lamp.
Location: Within half a mile of Dover Priory Railway Station, and three-quarters of a mile of the town centre, and on a bus route.
Admirably fitted my needs for one-night accommodation close to the centre of Dover and the railway station.

Good place - but would have preferred not to have had too much conversation at breakfast. Breakfast cost more than it should have too.
