Nice staff, but there is a problem with this hotel that is beyond staff-related issues. It is right next to a busy, especially loud street, and many of the rooms--including mine--face that street.

I was definitely misled by reviews for this property. I felt safe in the area, so that was a positive. Room was incredibly musty and had water damage in the bathroom ceiling. The room we were in was so incredibly loud, that at one point each person said, “Is the window open?”. I asked to move rooms and they said there may be one in the morning, but were not accommodating as far as helping organize a transition. It was like pulling teeth trying to come up with a plan. We had to leave early in the morning for a tournament and had nowhere to store our bags while they cleaned the new room. We ended up leaving and they did refund our second night. They were stingy with towels. We received 2 towels (3 people on reservation) for 3 women (I think this should be at least two per person, especially since there’s no housekeeping service during stay). They wanted us to turn towels in before we received more.

Smokey and loud!!!
Rooms were so Smokey!!!! I reported it to the manager bc they charge for smoking in the rooms… wanted to make sure it wasn’t me. Our room was so loud could barely sleep- we left out asap like 7am and went to a family members house to shower! Priced too high for what you get $326 a night- never again!

This hotel is horrible! The rooms smell like cigarette smoke and the air conditioner barely works. The beds are super uncomfortable and the rooms don’t look or feel clean. We barely slept because the conditions were so poor.

The property was filthy and completely smelled of cigarettes throughout. The bathrooms were horrible as well as the carpets in hallways. I did not feel safe. The door to room was open when we got there and did not provide a safety latch. It was such poor conditions that I did not stay and found another hotel to stay at. The front desk employee was very nice and did refund my money for both nights because of the circumstances with the smell of cigarettes etc. I am thankful for that.

I spent the entire night listening to people in the room next door playing music and smoking - there is very poor sound insulation between rooms and the staff do not seem to care about noise levels etc. The entire floor smelled like pot.

For the high price of the room, I would have hoped that the amenties would have been better. Plujs, the room did not have a carpet... you have to wonder why. In addition, the check in couter has protective glass separating the guest from the staff. Not welcoming at all. Never again!

Hotel is an older property with limited upgrades. Room was clean and hotel staff were polite and accommodating. Our room was listed as "accessible". Luckily we did not need an accessible bathroom as it wasn't. Large enough and had bars near toilet and in tub (truly accessible should be walk in) , but the shower head was almost 6ft up, only 1 member of our party could reach it to change angle of spray much less remove to use it handheld. Continental breakfast was very limited and included a brown water machine (even after staff refilled coffee machine, brown water was the result, not coffee!) Improvements are needed but it was a safe, clean room.
