"We really liked our apartment. It was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. There were only 2 issues. The water pressure in the bathroom was extremely low. And the neighbor upstairs was SO loud. They had loud conversations until around 2 AM, heavy footsteps, and an extremely loud TV that stayed on all night until 4 AM. "A very nice and clean, spacious house and property. Unfortunately our recent May 2nd - 5th stay was plagued with poor, spotty rainy weather except for the arrival night so we didn't get to utilize all of the of outdoor features associated with the property. Having firewood available for the firepit was a nice convenience. We definitely would consider staying there again. Please note to be careful walking on the outside stone pathways, some become a little slippery when wet."

"This is a nice, older large house on the lake. It was a good location, right on the lake, and there were enough canoes and floats for the kids to use, with spare life jackets. Our only gripe was that the kitchen was not well-equipped. There were no pots and the pans, knives cookware was really old and unusable. So much so that we went to the local store and bought two pots and a frying pan for our use. One of the upstairs bedrooms did not have any side tables. Where do you put your water glass...

"I've stayed at the Subshine House numerous times and it is as charming as ever with the new ownership. It's a serene oasis! The sunrises from the deck and expansive views from the house are amazing. The house is clean and well stocked and there is a TV in each room. My dog enjoyed playing in the big yard and water. Kiran was super nice, communitive and helpful.
