Good value but with some caveats
I booked this hotel as a friend and I decided that we were in need of a brief city break over the Easter period. The hotel itself represented very good value for money, with spacious and well furnished rooms. The decor is, shall we say, 'interesting' and not necessarily to my taste. There is a well stocked bar and an excellent restaurant just next door. We didn't partake of breakfast so I can't comment as to its quality but we did feel it was overpriced. The hotel is very well located if you wish to visit the majority of the local museums and galleries, with the majority within a short walking distance. Alternatively, you can pop into the city centre, which is just across the road from the hotel, and enjoy its many shops, bars and restaurants.
