"The hotel is in a great location, the waterbas from the airport stops along an alley to the left of the hotel. Its about a 10 minute walk to the basillica and 15 minures to Rialto Bridge. Hotel is spotless and staff are friendly and helpful"

"Hotel Montecarlo was in an awesome location. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is a short walk away from the water bus which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. They also helped us bring our bags up to the room. The rooms were dated, but very clean and had everything you could need. "The hotel front desk was very difficult to locate and they are currently in the process of relocating to another building near the current location. However once we found the hotel entrance in a small alley check-in was easy, the staff very hospitable and accommodating. The breakfast dining room, provided food, and associated staff were excellent with a selection that included "American-style" breakfast items to typical European pastries, fruits, meats and cheeses. A simple hotel, but clean, safe, friendly, and near the Galleria dell'Accademia vaporetto stop and Central to the city. "
