Very nice hotel, great location. Rooms are cosy and comfortable but a little noisy. We happened to be at a weekend with 2 wedding a the night was a bit loud
Hotel in a good location to town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious clean room and good breakfast
All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel accepts dogs and were made to feel very welcome with beds, dog bowls towels and treats provided. There was even a dog food menu! The dog friendly room I was allocated was one of the cottages slightly away from the main building ...
Friendly staff great service very warm and relaxed
Perfect - as always! The apartment is fully equipped, large and has a great view. Breakfast was tasty, varied and fulsome. More expensive than some other local hotels but more than worth it.
Nothing is too much trouble. Nothing is too much trouble.
The staff could not have been more helpful, lovely clean room. The breakfast was very nice. Good value for money
Great location and beautiful views. Lovely conservatory to sit in and admire the view , and great to have the private beach with cafe and seating.
Booking a room in a spa hotel in Dorset is a great way to ensure that you truly relax during your downtime. Whether you're treating your spouse or partner to some long-overdue pampering or you want to use the facilities to treat sporting stresses and strains, there is a wide selection of spa hotels in Dorset. Ranging from chic, sleek hotels to sprawling, elegant country manors there are plenty to choose from, all offering excellent treatments and therapies.
For sheer luxury, the Summer Lodge Country House Hotel, Restaurant and Spa sets the bar pretty high. Set in supremely serene surroundings, the spa offers everything from nail treatments to hot-stone massages and its own sauna. The Summer Lodge is one of Dorset's most stunning spa hotels, offering outstanding accommodation and an award-winning restaurant. Although families are welcome at the hotel, the spa itself is for adults only, giving frazzled grown-ups the chance to unwind without the background chorus of little ones.
However, if you are travelling with the family and want to introduce your children to the calming world of spa treatments and therapies, there are some Dorset spa hotels that will accommodate younger guests. The Christchurch Harbour Hotel and Spa offers a range of Junior Spa Treatments for children over the age of six. These range from beauty treatments and make-up tutorials to manicures and pedicures. While parents are welcome to stay and watch, it also provides an opportunity to slip away and indulge in some pampering of your own.
There are plenty of activities for mind, body and soul, such as the Nordic Walking sessions in Purbeck and Bournemouth or the tranquillity offered by glorious greenery and flowers. Dorset is well known for its horticultural history and it's easy to relax and tune into nature when you pay a visit to attractions, such as the spectacular backdrop offered by Compton Acres. Many of Dorset's spa hotels are within easy reach of invigorating attractions; Moonfleet Manor overlooks the lagoons and rugged coastline of Chesil Beach, which is a great place to visit at any time of year.
Relaxation is a broad spectrum and booking a Dorset spa hotel is a sure-fire way to ensure you make the most of your time away.
