Pros: Service staff.
Cons: Disclose that scaffolding will obscure sea view.
Location: Didn't explore because of poor weather.
Parking was limited. Check in personnel were very helpful.

Gastfreundliches und tolles Hotel in Strandnähe

Posted 16-Nov-2015
Pros: Die Gastfreundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit und die unmittelbare Nähe zum Strand.
Cons: Es ist perfekt.
Location: Ich habe die Old Harry Rocks besucht.

Nice Hotel Close to the Beach

Posted 06-Nov-2015
Pros: Hotel staff: friendly, polite and accommodating.
Cons: The standard of the room - slightly outdated and the TV was not facing the bed. I would rate the actual room a 3*.
Location: Lovely location but I cannot comment on this as I arrived at 8.30pm and left at 7.30am the next morning.
Stayed here on business for 1 night. Hotel reception were extremely friendly and attentive. Reception rooms (lobby, restaurants) etc were of a high standard (4*). I had a single room which was OK for a business stay. Clean and tidy with plenty of space but not as luxurious as I would have liked. I would rate the room no higher than a 3*.

Nice Location, needs Updating Badly

Posted 27-Sep-2015
Pros: location
Cons: The hotel requires refurbishment up to 4 star standard.
The hotel is in a great location. However, the quality of the accommodation was disappointing for the price. The overall appearance of the hotel was that it needed refurbishment. Badly worn carpets, taped down in places. Stained and worn furniture in public rooms, and a general dilapidated appearance. The room was of a good size, but again the furnishings and carpets were worn and stained. The bathroom was utilitarian rather than luxurious with the toilet seat, taps and shower defective. The staff were efficient and the breakfast plentyful, but I feel the hotel is trading on past reputation and I would rate it 2 star at best. Avoid unless you can get a great rate.

Disgusted with the room and so called sea view

Posted 04-Sep-2015
Pros: The breakfast was good
Cons: Don't allocate a ground floor room infront of a play area to 2 adults trying to enjoy a break
Location: Ok
Having paid £365 for 2 nights stay room 8 ( to be avoided) was right infront of a filthy child's play area , dirty sand and equipment and filthy canopy. Noisy karaoke blaring out , and this a 4 star hotel? Final insult the route to our room closed off due to 'rehearsals, meaning a route march to our room, who is the paying guest here? We checked out after one night and went home. Disgusting hotel and I am writing to the hotel for a refund. It's not fit for purpose and we were mis sold this room, the web pictures are Not accurate. The bar food was terrible , pizza was clearly out of a supermarket.

The hotel has a wonderful terrace right next to the sand and sea. Easy access to a big beach.

shabby 4 star £200 per night

Posted 19-Aug-2015
Booked a room for 2 adults and one child was give a room with one double bed and a soda bed with a 2 inch mattress. I did not pay £200 per night for a sofa bed !! The hotel was shabby looking for a 4 star . The staff on reception and in the dining room were excellent . Bar service left a lot to be desired. Waited 40 minutes for a sandwich one day and 40 minutes for a cream tea the following day. Staff had no after care to check u had ur food and all ok just took orders and my money which wasn't cheap to say the least. I do not mind paying for good food and good service but the bar food and staff service were neither !

A Heavenly Mess!

Posted 13-Aug-2015 on Hotels
The hotel is tired and dated - the reception and bar areas are quite good but the rooms badly need updating. On arrival, our balcony was so dirty, you couldn't see through the glass. A previous guest had written "clean me" in the dirt. The staff need training. They do their best to be helpful however they are inexperienced and so everything is slow going. The casual dining menu has nothing healthy or interesting on offer. It's all junk type food. The outside bar area is a mess. Tables littered with dirty glasses and plates most of the time and the sun bathing area is a joke! On the plus side, the hotel offers fantastic entertainment for kids and is in THE BEST location right on the beach.

Pleasant apart from the building work going on next door we had to ask to be moved to a quieter part of the hotel I think more money could be spent on the rooms themselves everywhere else is smart the rooms let the hotel down somewhat & for the money it cost I was disappointed some what
