Decent ocean view.

Posted 22-Apr-2017
Pros: The view.
Cons: The cleanses, the shower, the tiles that were broken, the cleaners to put more effort into their work, and stick to their word.
Location: The hotel is about 20mins from town centre, we walked there every day, it's a pleasant walk, the weather was great, the views On the way are gorgeous.
when we first got there was very disappointed, we got to our room and our worst nightmare came true, it looked nothing like what the pictures showed, the room was tiny, dirty, wires sticking out the wall, cracks in the wall, phone was sticky and covered in muck, I guess it was the guests that clearly didn't care much, but the cleaners should have made sure to clean up the whole room before any new guests arrived. Even the bed sheets smelled, we did not feel comfortable being in there or even sitting on the bed, So we decided to call reception and ask for our money back, they immediately said NO, So I insisted that they come and look for themselves, the lady came up, and so the manager came up too and he then apologised and let us pick better room with a gorgeous sea view on the floor that had been re decorated, we were very happy. the first nights stay /sleep was very comfortable.. but from then on we started noticing little things, the shower was cold. The cleaners kept trying to get in our room at 8am, we had asked for new towels however they just kept the same ones. Every night there was banging from upstairs at 2-3 in the morning,we did complain but no stop. And breakfast was not as expected.

Sea front hotel, great location.

Posted 22-Apr-2017
Location: Location great, nice walk to the beach and really clean.
On arrival reception staff were friendly and offered us an upgrade to a seaview room with a surcharge. We were shown both rooms and the seaview room was so much nicer. Not just because of the sea view but it had been recently decorated, it had nicer furniture, carpet was cleaner and it was brighter. It cost £60 more which I was reluctant to pay but I feel I did the right thing as I feel it enhanced our stay as a family. Beds for us (mum and dad) comfy however the kids in the bunk beds said they were not comfy and didn't sleep well. Parking was an issue, we had the choice of three neighbouring hotels and still had a problem. We were told if we couldn't get one we would have to park on the road and pay, luckily someone left so we had that space. We used the neighbouring hotels indoor pool, changing room small and not very clean but kids had a great time in the pool. Evening food was nice, pricey at £9.50 for a pizza but was lovely and the Staff also friendly. At breakfast, again staff were friendly, food was ok, choice was ok, disappointed that some other choices were charged extra to the room, for example omelettes. Overall good stay.

Pros: On a cliff top away from main area of tourism. *
Cons: Air conditioning in room?
Location: * see above but in easy reach of pier and beach area
Room was O K with a good sea view. However when window closed room became very hot although heating was not on. Opening the window solved this problem but we were then subjected to the passing traffic noise causing a very disturbed night's sleep.

Clean , dog friendly hotel near all amenities.

Posted 28-Mar-2017
Pros: Price and situation.
Cons: Dog friendly dining, although I know this is not everyone's wish.
Location: Very near beach and chine walks.
We booked online at a reasonable price. We needed somewhere our dog would be welcome. The hotel is near to plenty of walks and dog friendly eating places are nearby too. It would be handy if the dog was welcome in the restaurant at the hotel but it made us walk elsewhere to eat. The budget room was small but perfectly fine with a huge and very comfortable bed. The shower room looked newly refurbished and was very clean and neat. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

One night.

Pros: The hotel room was excellent, clean and modern ,great bathroom.
Cons: Lift very small, continualy waiting for lift as two people were plenty three to much, very annoying. Car parking is a big problem, very hit and miss.
Location: Location great, sea and beach close also Bournemouth town centre.
It was very easy to book on-line,easy to find, car parking was not very good a bit hit and miss, this is the one problem that would put me off going there again ,but room great, breakfast really enjoyed it ,staff helpful.

I stay here every other week for work and I would come back and stay here on my holidays as well! Newly refurbished rooms, super friendly staff and the food in the restaurant is brilliant. Highly recommended for the price you pay, great value for money.
