You can be with us in under and hour from London and in the middle of the Surrey Hills an area of outstanding natural Beauty. Offering all creature comforts including WiFi and under floor heating and with over 130sm floor area all on one level there is lots of room to relax. A large main living area with vaulted oak ceiling has 3m wide French patio doors onto sunny patio with wonderful views across the fields. Deer often wander into view as do the occasional cheeky fox! Oak breakfast bar and well stocked kitchen and includes black granite tops, flush hob, oven, fridge, and dishwasher. Take the hassle out of your stay and preorder your food shopping with us so it can be here waiting for you. Also secure boot room perfect for cycles with separate washer and fridge freezer. Enjoy dinner at the oak dining table or on the patio or relax in the spacious lounge area with a very cosy Wood burning stove, plenty of logs and 50' flat screen TV, and two large very comfortable sofas! Or its a ten minute walk to the nearest country pub offering good food and cosy fires! Two other excellent pubs close by. Three generous and very light sunny bedrooms that include 2 doubles with french double doors and beautiful views over the meadows and a very large triple. The bathroom/wet room also with vaulted ceiling and a wonderfully powerful shower and endless supply of hot water! Underfloor heating means no cold toes! The barn has a generous private sunny patio looking directly over the fields and is equipped with teak table, chairs, large trampoline and barbecue as well as a hammock and you also have use of a very private and secluded walled garden. Ideal for couples, families or friends. Set in the middle of 40 acres of private land surrounded by fields and woodland the Barn sits near the Farm House and faces away over the fields so offers seclusion and privacy. Exceptional walking, beautiful woodland trails or cycle or ride for miles, you have hundreds of lovely paths, tracks and bridleways on your doorstep with Holmbury Hill.Pitch Hill, Leith Hill, Box Hill to name but a few. For those who want to stay put depending on the time of year you can either curl up with book in front of the cosy fire or find a sun trap and relax in the victorian walled garden for hours on end. Visit the lovely villages of Shere and Peaslake with country pubs and cosy tea rooms or Ewhurst where you could enjoy watching a Polo match at Hurtwood Park Polo and Country Club. The historic town of Guildford is just 20 minutes away as is Dorking with its many attractions. London very easy is an hour door to door. Great trains service Guildford or Dorking. Or you could be on the stunning beaches at West Whittering or shopping in charming Brighton under an hour.

Peaceful

We stayed here for a week pre-cruise and I’m so glad we chose this property instead of one in London. It was a peaceful respite after long days of sightseeing. The pictures of this property simply do not do it justice. The beds are comfortable, the linens luxurious, the views relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s plenty of seating room in the living area. If you’re looking for a place off of the beaten path but close enough to London and other attractions, this may be it.

Lovely barn in beautiful setting - super relaxing!

We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday in the lovely barn. The spacious house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you will need to feel at home. Being lucky with the weather we spent much of our time just staying "at home" and enjoying long breakfasts and dinners on the sunny patio. There are many nice footpaths and pubs near by. Over all we had a lovely time in the barn and the surrounding nature. Thank you for being such good hosts. We hope to come back soon.
