"Communication from the owners was poor right up until the day of check in. I made contact a few days before we were due to stay, to understand the process of check in. After reading my messages, they totally ignored them and we had to call the night before to make sure that our booking was actually in place. "We spent a lovely few days at Lychgate Cottage. We did find it a bit difficult to locate the property once in the village and didn’t have a telephone number to contact the owners or Vrbo. The cottage was very cosy and equipped with everything we could want and more. We were supplied with lots of essentials on arrival (ie tea, coffee, bread , milk etc) and more. Anthony and Marilyn welcomed us on arrival and Marilyn showed us around the cottage. Henfield is a small village only about 5 minutes...

"We were expecting to stay in a 1 bedroom cottage not a room There was no kitchen just a cupboard with a sink and a microwave so no room to be able to cook There was no bed as such just a futon because the room was so small we had to put it together and collapse it every day I was glad to come home"
