Nice place nice staff
My son is on the spectrum and extremely worried about dirt and germs. He absolutely hates Motels and we had no choice. He was extremely comfy. Slept well. Nice beds. Cute little room. Would definitely stay again.

Adequate for the price
The room was actually very small. We had a family of 4 and it felt completely cramped. The table drops down so if you have it up, you can't walk in the room so you can't leave it up for a place to set things. The bathroom had the same issue - pedestal sink and no cabinet so no space to put things. It was outdated but I would say it was very clean. The staff were very friendly. If you just need a place to sleep and don't plan on being in your room or if you have a smaller group, then I would definitely recommend. Loved that it was across from Target and 10 minutes from Walmart and many restaurants in between - so location is great.

Very cute and very clean. The bathroom was a little tight with nowhere to put stuff but doable for a night. The beds could definitely be more comfortable. Did not sleep well. I would stay again for a night but no more due to uncomfortable bed.

Convenient to have the kitchenette!
The room was a true throwback to another era. Everything was clean enough, the beds OK and the kitchenette nice to have, but the voices of people sitting outside were loud and no phone to call the office. (Could have used our cell phones, tho.) Direct TV is more commercial channels than anything, but we had our computers to watch. There was no room for a comfy chair in our 2 bed room. A shelf is needed in the bathroom but it's about what we expected from a vintage motel and it was fun for a change.

This was a nice little place. Small but big enough. The units next to us did party hard and loud until after 2:00 AM. I would stay here again, but if the owners are not going to monitor, I will call the police.

The little kitchen area was great. Very nice mattress plus the great staff. You can even sit outside. I would use this place again. Great price!

While it is an older property and "no frills", there were nice upgrades to the bathroom. The room was very clean and there was some basic kitchen items (hot plate, microwave and mini fridge plus kitchen utensils, and tabkeware) if we had wanted to cook meals. We would definitely stay again.

Staff was very understanding and accommodating. Place was safe and clean and reasonably priced compared to to other options. Only thing would have helped was continental brake-fast to get an early start with the day, but was not a big deal.

Staff were very friendly. When we got into our room, the fridge had an opened yogurt container and other food items. It made me question the cleanliness of our room, so that was disappointing. Affordable option for exploring Door County, especially if you won’t spend much time in your room.

Looking at the outside of the hotel I thought I was in for a low quality stay. Despite the 1950s exterior, the inside has been updated. The kitchenette was very nice for a long stay in door county. They had lots of dishes and pots and things to use on the cook top. There wasnt an oven, but they had a electric range. Another nice feature was that they had windows that opened, which was nice to let fresh air in and feel the breeze rather than just using air conditoning. My only complaint is that there is a median between the highway which meant you can only turn into the hotel driveway from the one side of the highway. We had to do a lot of U turns to get to that side!

The room was very nice, bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. We were on a motorcycle trip and the overhang worked as a carport for us to park under. Great place to stay, we will stay here again when we come back to Door County.

Loved the vibe and colors. Essentials provided. Loved the kitchenette as we stayed 2 nights. It has plates, utensils, microwave, frig and sink. Retro furnishings and on the newer side. Mattress ok for 2 nights, but longer stays would be hard. Ice in front office and they dispense and they close at 11pm. I would stay again. All would be 5 if it weren't for the mattress.

Everything was great, but we found the beds to be very uncomfortable. I think it was the boxsprings were very broken down. Loved the kitchenette and the use of space with the pull down table and stools. Great use of space. We slept better the second night when we slept in separate beds. Very clean and a great location. It was very quiet. Would stay here again.

Overall good but a couple of issues
It was fine. Basic, clean room for good price. Even though it was clean, it still looked like it needed a good overall scrub. And the curtains fall right in front of the AC. We pinned up the curtains, but could be problematic if you ain't got no pins! Clerks very nice and helpful.

Small older motel, but extremely clean, responsive staff and priced well. This is the second time I’ve stayed here while visiting family in the area. I will use this motel anytime I come to Sturgeon Bay
