Hotel was extremely accommodating and had great service. We got upgraded to a suite which was huge and very well setup. Room was clean and quite. Also walking distance to Tienanmen Square and good restaurants.
Our room was wonderful and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was a great place to land after long days of touring. The staff was open about how best to navigate and what to see around Beijing. They coordinated taxis and a car trip to the Mutianyu wall that we will not forget and were always on hand when we needed suggestions. Great location, great place and terrific staff!

We stayed five nights in a club room, and it was one of the nicest hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff in the club lounge were exceptional, and the food and drink in the lounge (and at the breakfast buffet downstairs) were excellent. Our room, and the hotel generally, were modern, stylish, and comfortable, with great consideration of every guest need. I can recommend this hotel without any reservations whatsoever.

Nice hotel on Jinbao street. Close to restaurants and malls in excellent, central area of Beijing. Good service with enough English-speaking personnel. Rather expensive on the extra services (food/beverage, laundry, transportation).
Although a +VIP Access hotel, I never received a room upgrade (this is not my first visit to the Regent) despite it being low season and having plenty of availability. In addition, I had to remind them of the F&B + Laundry discount which was not automatically applied at check-out and had to be manually entered for each applicable line.
The front desk upgraded us for free, room was nice n modern but light was too dim, toilet was outdated, bathtub was old, even the hand drill was rusty. The shower head was filled with mold. Breakfast varieties was reasonable well spread, love the counter which they made fresh crepe. It is closed to mrt station n shopping mall.
An historical district, Dongcheng is home to a concentration of major sights and treasures including Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City (Palace Museum). To the south, discover Wangfujing Street, a famous shopping boulevard that sees mostly foot traffic only. Here, more than 200 old Beijing brands still reign supreme including the Wuyutai Tea House and Shengxifu hat store.
