Great location with plenty of onsite parking. The Art Deco design of the public rooms give elegance and glamour.

A striking and quirky hotel in Art Deco Style. We had a deluxe room on the top floor which was spacious and light with excellent views over a cricket ground and parkland. Good sized bathroom with bath and shower. The hotel is newly refurbished so everything is sparklingly and clean. Lovely comfortable king sized bed with quality linen. Staff were welcoming and very friendly Good car park at rear of property. Only thing that did not meet our expectations was the food - breakfast was OK but 3 star rather than 4 star quality and choice.

We have just had a 2 night stay in The Earl of Doncaster. I fell in love with this hotel as soon as we arrived. It’s lavish, beautiful and quirky. If you’re an Art Deco fan, this hotel is definitely for you. We had The Executive Room, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the double windows which made the room light and airy. The sound proofing is great and we hardly heard anyone else in the hotel. Every member of staff we came into contact with couldn’t do enough to help us. I have to give a special mention to Levi, the night manager. Levi is an asset to this hotel, he was competent, very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel, he was as proud of it as if he owned it himself. He honestly couldn’t do enough for us and all this while dealing with a very difficult customer who was being rude and aggressive towards him. We ate in the hotel restaurant through out our stay, we experienced breakfast, lunch and dinner, we even had afternoon tea via room service. Every meal we ate was lovely and cooked to a high standard. I would recommend this hotel to anyone having a stay in Doncaster. If ever I need to come to Doncaster again, I want to stay here. The happiness of the staff makes it a delightful experience. Well done to all the staff that make The Earl of Doncaster the place it is.

It would have been excellent, but there was no hot water to have a shower in the morning.
