"This property was such a gem. But what really made it was the entire family staff. They are some of the most genuine, sincere and hospitable people that truly do whatever they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They treat you like family. I really can’t speak enough about how great this place is. Don’t forget to try the restaurant across the street either. Food was great with the same familial, hospitable feel. This was our favorite experience out of our Greece trip"
"Our stay at this hotel was a great experience. We really enjoyed the breakfast selection, especially the fresh orange juicer. It was also a real treat to be able to use the Spa daily, so very relaxing!"
"Location was a point on the map and Google took us the wrong way and we almost got stuck. There were 2 beds with sheets and the top 2 beds without any sheets. Stairs were narrow and without a railing, you had to hold on to a rope and cables to climb some thin steps so our kids slept on the hard sofas. The mattresses and sofas were too hard or worn out.No microwave, no utensils like a food mixer, whisk, the coffee maker was old too.Only one key to the door and when you took it out to leave, the electricity and air conditioning would turn off and you would return home to horrible heat. There's not enough power in the area so to take a hot shower, you had to turn off the air conditioning, and so on.Shared access to the swing, patio and pool with other units.Lots of shells that could break, low hanging decoration with shells that we hit with our heads constantly. We were terribly bitten by mosquitoes and other insects inside and outside the house. Many flickering lights that had to be turned off, many very dim or not working properly. The 2 bathrooms had showers so small that the curtain fell off when we took a shower, no bidet and no bathtub (owner lied in the description). The alarm on the refrigerator rings for no reason every day with door closed. The is shallow, depth of less than 1.2m, with very cold water.Every day an alarm rang in the neighborhood. The descent from the house to the beach was steep. The good things: view was beautiful, has blackout blinds."
"Room was nice although the toilet seat was very cheap. Staff was very friendly. Food was cafeteria style and very crowded in dining room. Definitely seemed like a family oriented place with lots of children. We actually didn't feel great after the breakfast. Nothing bad."
Breathtaking mediterranean view, large private infinite Pool & Jacuzzi !
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful holiday thanks to this property, which combines tranquility and authenticity in a magnificent setting with breathtaking views. The pool facilities, jacuzzi, and Mediterranean garden allowed us to spend quality time with friends and create unforgettable memories at sunset. The house is spacious and very clean, and everyone found their own space, a place to read or relax. All the information Anne, the owner, gave us was very helpful and accurate. Anne answered all our questions and always tried to make our stay unforgettable. We thank her sincerely and recommend this house without hesitation!"
"If you’re wondering whether to book this place, just do it! It was our favorite part of our trip to Greece. It is located in a quiet fishing village. The views are amazing. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evenings. The hosts are so kind and helpful. We looked forward to breakfast every morning that included plenty of coffee and options for all dietary needs. They even had a juicer and fruits and vegetables for fresh juice. Each room has designated loungers by the water, and we spent plenty of time relaxing there. Many thanks to the family and staff that hosted us!!"
"This was a last minute. Stop when driving from Mount Olympus to Athens. There was nothing wrong with it, but you do get which to pay for. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower is tiny, and I am a small person. So I don’t know how a big person would fit in there. Breakfast was pretty good. It’s located right across from the beach though. So that was great. Don’t follow the Google Maps directions with the coordinates. You end up in some lady’s driveway which must happen a lot, because she knew exactly where I wanted to go, but we really couldn’t communicate for me to get the right directions. I would use a different map service and put in the exact address."
Comfort at Theologos,Malesina,pool,view,90min from Athens. For demanding guests!
6/10 Okay
"I think “Luxury in Theologos” is over stating the case. The view from the villa is awesome - second to none. We enjoyed cooking outdoors and using the grill. Our focus was not really on the villa. We had some great family time together - that was our focus. The villa, however, is starting to look very tired. Broken showers, little to no hot water, badly maintained swimming pool (unusable last 3 days), worn out and shabby fixtures and fittings. The plumbing is sub par and smells. Wild dogs wonder freely around the property day and night. The area is quiet as advertised but the local beaches and restaurants are below par and make it hard to justify the price charged for the villa. It’s not 5 stars more like two or three stars."
"The place is beautiful but that’s about it. We didn’t know you needed swim caps to get in pool. Not very friendly about that or anything else. Like a ghost town and average age is 80. Which is fine unless you have children like we do."
