Great view and location
The hotel was great. It had a great location, close to everything. I was on Disney side where you can see fireworks at night and even though I tried never saw anything. The chambermaid staff were great. Front desk not too helpful. I asked for a late check out and I was told no. I thought I was supposed to get a VIP package and nothing The room itself was very clean and nice. There were enough towels and soap. The door handle to the bathroom was broken since we got there. I did not want to ask for another room since we got there late at night. I was surprised that housekeeping had not inspected room after the last guest left.
I enjoyed the Characters Breakfast. I tried to inquiry with front desk and they were not very helpful. Fortunately, i went up to the restaurant and there was a middle aged lady ) I think her name was Sarah) who even though it was the end of her shift she was nice enough to give me the low down on what to expect, cost, best time to be there etc. I went to pool area around 10 pm looking for somewhere to eat since restaurant was closing. Staff told me they were closed too and no one even mentioned there was a lounge in lobby. It is kind of hidden so I didn't see it when I checked in. So we went across street to Hilton. The next night we found Wyndham's lounge and we went there instead. Recommendation: Go across street to Hilton's lounge. The staff is friendly and savvy about menu and offerings. Menu is better and more choices. Even drinks are better.
