Comfortable, although did not wetvac carpet that was soaked from the rain after Hurricane Irma. I had to continuously soak up the water with towels.

Clean room, Terrible Staff

Posted 18-Sep-2017
When people visit or want to experience anything Disney, magic comes to mind. A visitor is willing to pay for that experience; however, during Hurricane Irma evacuation, the staff was less than pleasant and appeared to be annoyed by all the people checking in and out. The front desk wouldn't even provide any verbal information about the area. They just simply handed my room key and a brochure and walked off. This is the Best Western at Disney Springs not Walmart in South Florida. I expected better customer service or at least a warm greeting.

Leaking a/c

Posted 18-Sep-2017
Our A/C leaked all night and the mini fridge made an awful noise. We were there one night and it was late or we would have gotten another room. It "LOOKED" great, but looks can be deceiving.

could be nice

Posted 18-Sep-2017
Checked in after 11:00 after 7 hours of travel by air and asked front desk host if there was water in the room ... no. She looked up out reservation and then said she didn't have any to provide. Apparently there isn't any unless you book direct through best western. Store was closed. She sent us to the fitness room where there were little tiny cone shaped cups where we gulped down a bunch but obviously couldn't bring back to the room. Next day I mentioned to the housekeeper and 5 minutes later another lady came with a great little best western guest bag with waters and snacks. Those 2 ladies are great! But ridiculous I had to get water that way. Just to note - I later found out there was a machine where we could have bought water for $2 - which I would have happily done. Room was decent - but as the night went on realized some issues - sliding door to the deck required my full body strength to open - tub had no drain cover - toilet handle broke so could not flush - no lotion toiletry - and garbage smell below us (I think the garbage incinerator was below us). Night host would not change our room (again after looking at our reservation which we booked through expedia because it was $35/night less money). Next day front desk lady did move our room and all was much better! But night shift front desk attendant did not tell maintenance to come to fix something - we waited 80 minutes before informing again. (Shuttles were great and beds comfortable).

Great location on Disney property

No issues at all with the stay, we were there for Hurricane Irma and there seemed to be no disruption in service.

Hurricane Irma

Posted 13-Sep-2017
We evacuated key west and stayed here to ride out storm. Staff was amazing!!! We were sad to go at the end of our stay! Brandon and Alex were the best! Thank you for making us feel comfortable during a bit of a stressful time!

Disney

Posted 13-Sep-2017
Pros: Location & views
Cons: Having to pay for parking at the hotel!
I first stayed here 32 years ago when I made my first trip to Disneyworld. I've stayed several more times over the years. This year was special because we got to take our 2 & 1/2 year old granddaughter on her first Disney trip! It's still a wonderful, comfortable place to stay!

An OK hotel

Posted 10-Sep-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel a bit tired. Staff not very motivated. Room lighting very poor. Also, it encourages people to bring their pet dogs - I say leave them at home.
Location: Well situated for access to all the Disney attractions and Malls (assuming you have a car).
Good location and comfortable. Very busy though and staff not particularly helpful or courteous. The hotel also seems to attract a lot of people with pet dogs, which would be enough for me not to recommend.
