"Front desk staff all very nice and helpful. Rooms always clean and tidy. Breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were way over down. Too rubbery! I didnt get to make a waffle because of the station being over crowded every morning no matter the time. We will come back but would rather have breakfast somewhere else."

"Our stay was wonderful! Very quiet spot on the water. Very serene! The home was lovely and had all the little touches! We didn’t get the kayaks on the water, but it was nice knowing they were made available to the guests. Dana provided for our needs and then some! It was nice having a Food Lion close by. We drove the distance to Duck and to Wanchese every day for fishing and restaurants. Did some cooking at the home too with the equipment provided at the property for seafood. Highly recommend."

"The walk to the beach feels far with little kids but for the price it simply can’t be beat. This is our third stay and the host is responsive and attentive to any concern. Works for our family gathering with 15 people just great!"

"We absolutely had a great trip and we loved the house, the pool the hot tub, location was great. The house needs some tic a deep clean. The property is completely infested with red ants. We are currently driving home and my children and myself are being bitten by red ants. We have a 9 hour drive and literally there’s nothing I can do at this point but get home. We did stop once and try to shake things out and get rid of some of them but not a great ending."

"The property is a lovely, quiet destination where you can relax and enjoy beautiful scenery. This is a a nature-lover’s delight as you can marvel at waterfront sunrise/sunsets, bird watch, fish, and cruise around on your kayaks (and that’s just at the property — Kitty Hawk beach is an easy 30 ride away). The renovations throughout and ample room sizes makes this an excellent choice for families. My husband and I plan to buy a set of those Turkish Cotton towels! They were an added bonus after a nice shower!! Highly recommended!! We would visit again."

"House was everything and more. Would definitely come back again. Pool was larger than most homes, which was perfect for larger families. host responded quickly to any questions. All directions were very clear as far as check-in and check out process. Highly recommend.."
