"A much needed get away for 3 young widows. We came to the area to ride the pedal powered Rail Explorer in Boone (about an hour away). We laughed, cried and left restored. This place is so special! "The occasion for our visit was one of our son’s wedding. My husband and I arrived ahead of everyone else, prepped the rehearsal dinner on the charcoal grill and in the kitchen. Family and guests starting arriving on Friday. The house was everything we needed; from the kitchen to the sleeping arrangements, adults to toddler to preschool. "Perfect for our run M2M"

"This house was perfect for our family gathering in my wife’s hometown. Plenty of room for the 8 of us to sleep, and a large dining/living room area for a family meal and space to visit. The beds were comfortable. 2 grandsons claimed the room in the basement with a couch and loveseat. This will definitely be top of our list again if we have another family gathering here. Large smart TV in the main room. Smaller TV in some of the bedrooms. Nice book collection, and some DVD’s."
