If I hadn’t had a room located directly above the restaurant/breakfast bar area, I would have given the hotel five stars. But, due to screeching of tables and chairs from 0100hrs until 0700hrs. I hardly slept, even with ear plugs in. Very disappointed. Every other aspect of my stay was superb from check in, the staff, cleanliness, the room. All fabulous. But if you’d like to sleep, make sure you don’t get a room on the first floor.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Couldn’t fault any of it. Lovely and clean and nice spacious room, not far from the train station or great nightlife just round the corner

Hotel is perfectly situated near shopping, bars and restaurants. Front desk staff were great. Bar and restaurant felt a little stuffy. Bar mainly had table service and on our second night were not very accommodating to hotel guests and we were turned away. Room was nice but duvet and towels were not great quality for a 4star hotel. Could ear music from surrounding bars until early morning. Lots of wrappers under the bed and bathroom was not super clean.

Very very poor Air conditioning. Uncomfortable
Hotel is very cozy and welcoming. The only issue is that we booked an Executive room, and expected air conditioning that actually worked. The aircon only recycled the air in the room and made for an uncomfortably stuffy night. We opened the window after a couplt of hours, only to hear every shout and scream from the clubgoers on \Boar LAne. Expected more to be honest. My sons family had the same experience in another room on the 4th floor the same night. Not good from Marriott.

Fantastic stay at the Marriott as always, we have stayed here over and over as this hotel is in the best location for shopping, the quality of this hotel is fantastic from the rooms to the food, staff are always lovely and polite

Great location. Weekends can be rather noisy due to the pubs nearby. Breakfast was very very good and rooms were small but nice and clean.

the hotel is closed to shopping and restaurants, about 10 mins walk to train station, so it is rather convenient. hotel is clean but not much amenities and facilities.
