True 5 star B & B

Posted 27-May-2017
Pros: Everything, the rooms, the sun terrace and what a choice of breakfast. The owners Peter and Helen were wonderful.
Cons: Nothing it could not have got much better.
Location: Perfect location in walking distance of shops, restaurants and the sea.
My wife and I had the most enjoyable stay and can't wait to return.

One of the best B&B's around

Posted 20-Mar-2017 on Hotels
We were warmly greeted by our hosts, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. We decided to change our sightseeing plans and they had some excellent suggestions for us to do instead. Some little things made this even better, with home baking available as an end of day treat. This is one of the most enjoyable B&B's I have stayed in.

a getaway but not too far

Posted 21-Nov-2016 on Ebookers
Pros: friendly, attentive, helpful, without being intrusive.
Cons: one minor point, the lighting in the bedroom would benefit from a dimmer switch (I emerged with a tan on the top of my bald head).
My wife and I had decided on a few days away from work and the demands of grown up children. We were met (in the car park) by Peter and Helen who immediately made us relaxed and at home, showing us around the guest house and expanding upon historical details when required. Five days flew by assisted by ample breakfasts, complementary home made cakes and valuable insider information on places to visit and dine; the room was comfortable and was miraculously tidied and cleaned during the day. We accomplished the peace and relaxation which we had intended and we look forward to returning.

Amazing. Great room with lots of nice little touches. Breakfast was amazing, lots to chose from both buffet and cooked options. Very attentive staff. Highly recommend this hotel, deserving of 5 stars.
