Excellent Farm Bed & Breakfast

Posted 23-May-2016
Pros: The cooked breakfasts were LOVELY and service was very swift.
Cons: A sausage and baked beans with cooked breakfast could be offered as an extra. Tourist information leaflets in the lobby area.
Location: Powderham Castle and farm shop is 1.6 miles away. Starcross has a The Anchor Inn that specialises in excellent local fresh fish and is 12 mins away.
Very warm welcome by the Lamberts. We felt at home and relaxed in the lovely country/farm setting in Kenton, Devon. The room and en suite was clean and nicely decorated with toiletries provided. Tea and coffee was also available in the room.Beds were clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the bedroom window.

Delia, the lady of the house, was welcoming in her farm which, as a little aside from the main road, benefited from the fresh air and quiet of the countryside. The room was quite sufficient for a short break, the bed comfortable, the breakfast (English) excellent, the whole spotlessly clean, and the garden invigorating. As only b&b is offered, dinner must be sought out (which is not so easy in the area), but, for a holiday base, Mill Farm is the perfect choice.

Mill Farm delightful Host

Posted 14-Jun-2015 on Hotels
We were welcomed into Mill Farm by the most delightful host, offering refreshments in a cosy lounge. Two rooms were available so we were given a viewing and we resided in the room which as at the back of the house with views of the countryside and was bright and airy. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality produce. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely would recommend and will return again.

This was our first visit to Mill Farm & we stayed for 1 night. On arrival We were made to feel so welcome as soon as we got there. The owners could not do enough to make us feel relaxed & well attended! Our room was spotless with lovely countryside views. Breakfast was fantastic and plenty of it, with lots to choose from. We had a lovely time staying at Mill Farm and would highly recommend it.
