Two night weekend stay

Posted 09-Jan-2017
Generally good but woken up both nights by noise in the corridor. Loud knocking on door and voices

Nice hotel but too quiet

Posted 31-Dec-2016
Eventhough the hotel is in city center but it's too quiet nearby. To shop or get something to eat, need to walk around 10 minutes. Comparing to the other Mercure, they has better location. The reception was great, he changed our room to be Twin bedroom as per our requested.

Central location, very warm and inviting.

I used the gym & spa facilities, the staff and patrons were very friendly. The room was cosy. Great location. Inviting real fire in lobby. We didn't eat at the hotel as we only stayed one night so unable to comment.

good location close to cathedral

Posted 26-Dec-2016
Pros: good pool, great hotel location.
Cons: rooms need an update. £12 to park overnight!
Location: Exeter cathedral is worth a visit, but you have to pay to go in. high street shops & many restaurants very close.
great location behind Exeter cathedral and just a few minutes walk to the high street and most shops, but fairly quiet as well. nice looking hotel with pleasant entrance lobby, although rooms were fairly standard business style with few frills. pool was a good size and worth using. staff were friendly and helpful. did not have breakfast so cannot comment on the food.

Great hotel, perfect location

Posted 25-Dec-2016
Very good. Parking is a bit pricey (£12 a day) bur does feel secure. But good welcome at reception and efficient check out. Really good breakfast options. Best heated buffet selection I've seen in a long while. Would recommend the hotel without hesitation

The hotel is excellent I have stayed in this hotel three times. The location is excellent, close to the city centre. There is parking as well. The pool is wonderful, the rooms are clean and breakfast includes good variety of food. I highly recommend this hotel

Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Very near the Cathdral and shops. The quay is also close by. The breakfast was good . The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Parking inside the hotel could be better

Lovely hotel close to the city centre

Pros: The staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. The facilities are excellent
Had a lovely weekend stay here. Wanted to do some Christmas shopping and this hotel is a few minutes walk from the Cathederal where the Christmas market is held and where the shops are. At the end of your day shopping you get to unwind in there pool, sauna and spa pool!
