Pleasant stay on a beautiful location.

Posted 16-May-2016
Pros: The entourage of an English cottage, so cozy and warm.
Cons: The Wi-Fi could be better, there was hardly any signal in the guestroom. But working on the kitchen table, close to the router, made it possible.
Location: The location is beautiful, such a sight and relaxation. A wonderful place to come to a rest. Close to the small town of Exminster and close to Exeter.
The Belvedere is a B&B with a beautiful view to the country sight; just outside Exminister, with the possibility to visit all kind of places in the neighborhood. After arriving, the welcome was very warm and friendly, together with a nice cup of tea and self-backed cake. Not really a place for a business stay, due to the Internet connection, but a place to stay for holiday or sightseeing.

Very enjoyable and I can't fault anything. If you are looking for somewhere quiet with a great breakfast and perfect scenery then stay here.

Warm welcome, comfortable and amazing views

Posted 22-Feb-2016
Pros: As above
Cons: I was delighted with everything
Location: It is central for visits to many beautiful and interesting places. As my visit was to see friends I did not explore,
Set in a beautiful, peaceful area with panoramic views from the elevated position. Within easy access of Exminster and an easy drive to Exeter and M5. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the welcome afforded by the wonderful, helpful hostess is second to none.

Only a brief overnight stay. The gps took us thought very narrow roads so better to get directions from the owner on how to get there

Great B&B with Fantastic views over a working farm

Posted 06-Aug-2015
Pros: The rural setting and the views
Cons: nothing
Location: The town of Exeter is about 10-15 minute drive away, with plenty of things to see and do. We travelled around a bit and used this as our base.
Frances is a wonder, should be wrapped in cotton wool and preserved as a national treasure. This B&B is set in a rural setting so you need a car to get to it and it is worth the drive. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The views from the conservatory are stunning. We were made to feel very welcome and next visit to the U.K. would definitely stay with her again. Would highly recommend this accommodation to all.

located on a farm outside Exeter

Posted 07-Jun-2015
Pros: It's location, although getting there is a bit harrowing unless you are used to narrow country lanes.
Location: We visited the Eden Project which is about and hours drive to the west.
This place is on a farm east of Exeter. It sits on a hill and has beautiful views of the farm in the valley below. Frances, the host cared for us extremely well.

Picturesque and homely.

Posted 12-May-2015
Pros: The home, the views, the service.
Cons: Directions to find it.
Location: It was a stop on the way for us.
Beautiful lady, beautiful surroundings, comfortable stay. Not the easiest place to find but certainly well worth the effort. We were waited on like royalty.

Great breakfast, accomodating host

Posted 19-Feb-2015
A very welcoming b and b not far from Exeter. A good night's sleep and breakfast was plentiful and cooked perfectly to order. Beautiful views but best to look on a map if trying to locate it in the dark - satnav is not v accurate! A great stay. Highly recommended.

A nice place to stay if you want to go walking in

Posted 24-Dec-2014 on Hotels
it was very nice warm comfortable single beds would prefer double The owner very pleasant but for us it was too out in the sticks and in bad weather not a good place to go. Food ok, but, not very plentiful or range of choice however if you ask she will get it for you.
