Good hotel, close to city centre and waterfront.

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: The staff...really obliging and helpful.
Cons: A minor gripe...but breakfast buffet could have been better especially the croissants!
Location: We were there for graduation ceremony but took the time to enjoy the waterfront area and some local restaurants and the cathedral.
Staff were excellent and parking was close by. Room was good size and had everything we needed.

Convenient Exeter city centre hotel.

Posted 05-Jul-2016
Pros: Convenient for the city centre and buses. Our rooms were of a good size and very quiet. The staff were very helpful.
Cons: Lack of drawers in bedrooms.
Location: Historic city and cathedral, old quays, university and grounds, pleasant parks, restaurants and old pubs with real character.
My daughter and I were in Devon for social and family events and also some sightseeing. We wanted a hotel that was convenient for the city centre, buses and trains., Jury's Inn is perfectly situated for the the bus station (about two minutes), the city centre (about five minutes) and buses to the railway stations. We changed our original bookings with no fuss and were able to have a late check out, again with no fuss. The car park, which was very reasonably priced and had hotel discounts, was right opposite the hotel. Overall our experience could not have been better.

Nice clean hotel. Staff are helpful and very willing to help. Surprisingly quite for a large chain hotel and didn't hear a peep all night which was handy as due to a very uncomfortable bed we were awake most of the night. Have stayed here before and never had a problem so suspect I was in a room with a very old mattress which needs to be replaced. The four hour drive home was interesting given lack of sleep :)
