Ideally located

Posted 31-Dec-2016
We happened to book this hotel for 2 nights whilst in Devon. The hotel was pretty clean, and we found the rooms were quiet as we wanted them to be. Out stay was reasonably cheap and breakfast was included with a decent range on offer. The hotel was right next to the M5, and getting to destinations like the beach and castles etc was very easy without having to drive a huge distance. All in all it was worth booking and I'd happily return!

Pros: Value for money
Cons: N/A
Beds were a little firmer than I like personally but otherwise a great room. Little extras at no extra cost was great e.g. iron, hairdryer, WiFi, towels and breakfast all inclusive. Room was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our overnight stay. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Requested 'quiet' room as hotel close to busy roads: given room on second floor overlooking car park & quite close to main reception - it was surprisingly quiet, even with the window open. Suited our purposes: no complaints.

Overnight stay

Double bed with sofa bed (family room). Comfortable and enough room for our stay. Inclusive breakfast was more than ample - maybe the hotel could keep a loaf of Gluten free bread in the freezer for those with allergies, though it would need to be toasted in a separate clen toaster. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

A very good place to stay especially if you are travelling further south.
