Great Hotel car required for Bath City Centre

Posted 03-Feb-2016
Pros: The bed and room where of a very good standard.
Cons: Sound proofing of doors closing as other guests doors slamming would be the only negative I would have.
Location: The location was perfect for the M5 however outside of the City Centre.
Best bed I have slept in for a while, room clean, the light bulb was faulty and the receptionist replaced it within two minutes. I would recommend the Exeter Hotel provided you have a car as it would be a very long walk into Exeter City centre. Loads of parking and a good breakfast in the morning. All good as far as I was concerned.

Hotel Close to Exeter Airport

Posted 18-Jan-2016
Arrived very late. A warm welcome at reception. Left very early for Airport. Continental breakfast available. Room very clean, tidy and modern. Proximity to Exeter Airport (approx. 2 miles) the key for me.

Enjoyable stay over Christmas

Posted 28-Dec-2015
Having searched for a dog friendly hotel for over the Christmas period I was pleased to find one of this reported caliber. On arrival with my dog I was informed that although now not accepting dogs at the hotel they would honour the booking. The bed was comfortable and there was the offer of two different types of pillows. The bathroom had a larger than average shower and there was more room in there than in other hotels I have stayed at. There was the standard tea/coffe making facilities with a nice note to go to reception of in need of refills. An iron and ironing board were supplied as was a hairdryer, and although fixed to a power outlet, I was still able to use it without having to hold the switch to keep it working whilst drying my hair.

Convenient and cheap

Posted 17-Dec-2015
Pros: Price
Cons: Pillows and mattresses
Location: Convenient for Exeter and Taunton
Although the hotel was by the M5, the rooms were surprisingly quiet. However, we did not receive our free gift and snack upon arrival and we asked for a family room, but were told none were available. We therefore booked three rooms, only to find that one of the rooms that we were given was a family room. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the pillows were not worth having. Overall though, for the price I wasn't expecting much so we were satisfied with our stay.
