Familiar Surroundings in ideal Location

Posted 21-Feb-2017
Perfect location for our requirements - Uni and Exeter G and CC. Great parking with town access via Park and Ride right opposite. Very Good dining adjacent at The Owl. Friendly efficient personnel with a welcoming atmosphere and ideal facilities. Excellent self service hot breakfast with plentiful selection and lots of attentive help to hand. We would always return but this location does get fully booked which is always a good indication. Thank You

Very acceptable hotel, close to the M5 and Exeter

Posted 26-Jan-2017
Pros: As above
Cons: None come to mind
Location: The location was such that our journey from Surrey was complete once we had left junction 29 of the M5. We were touring the Exeter
We found the room equipped with everything we required. We were cold on our first evening and following a brief visit to reception were promptly supplied with a heater, which solved our problem. Breakfast was varied, and of very good quality. There was also a nice pub on the edge of the car park, in case you did not wish to drive into town.

Ideally located

We happened to book this hotel for 2 nights whilst in Devon. The hotel was pretty clean, and we found the rooms were quiet as we wanted them to be. Out stay was reasonably cheap and breakfast was included with a decent range on offer. The hotel was right next to the M5, and getting to destinations like the beach and castles etc was very easy without having to drive a huge distance. All in all it was worth booking and I'd happily return!

Pros: Value for money
Cons: N/A
Beds were a little firmer than I like personally but otherwise a great room. Little extras at no extra cost was great e.g. iron, hairdryer, WiFi, towels and breakfast all inclusive. Room was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our overnight stay. Would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Requested 'quiet' room as hotel close to busy roads: given room on second floor overlooking car park & quite close to main reception - it was surprisingly quiet, even with the window open. Suited our purposes: no complaints.
