Excellent Location.

Posted 08-May-2017
Pros: The location, the availability, and the professionalism of the staff.
Cons: Nothing
We used this hotel as a staging point for explorations into Devon and Cornwall. It was ideally located on the outskirts of the city as we didn't have to battle the traffic in the centre of Exeter. The room was comfortable, the breakfast had lots of variety, and you could help yourself to extra tea, coffee and milk capsules in the foyer. Parking was free and there was ample space. The pub adjacent to the parking lot offered and wide menu for an inexpensive dinner. We had an embarrassing moment when we accidently jammed our door closed. The staff members on duty were very friendly and helpful in assisting us regain entry, especially one young man (I think his name was Jordan) who had just completed a long night shift. Highly commended!

All fine

Posted 07-May-2017
Stayed overnight to break up a long journey and were happy with everything pretty much. Staff were friendly, room was nice and breakfast was fine. No shampoo provided beyond generic shower gel but everything else as expected or better.

Uncomfy bed

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Great hotel for location we needed. Bed was uncomfy but we are used to a king not double. Noisy at 3.15am staff. Just drunk party people.

Pros: The bathroom was rather nice. Nicer than in many other hotels. Also, easy/quick access to hotel room via staircase.
Cons: Mattresses - I felt like I'm lying on an inflatable.
Nice clean rooms (though a bit small for a family of 4), clean, bright and spacious bathroom, very friendly staff and excellent breakfast, great location near the main roads, overall excellent choice of hotel. Thanks
