Everything about Ashfield Guest House is great. From very friendly owners and dog to How comfy, clean and spacious rooms are. From the start when you walk through the front door you feel very welcome an you are very well looked after. Breakfast is very good and there is big selection of things you can eat. Thanks very much for looking after us so well Definitely recomended!

Great location, warm welcome from Anne & Chris and Candy the dog too. Lovely breakfast, freshly cooked. Very informative and helpful hosts. Really enjoyed my three days with them and will definitely be returning.

I had a wonderful stay at Ashfield Guest House. Chris and Ann, the owners, are welcoming, fun and kind hosts. The B&B is well situated and is clean and comfortable. I will be back and highly recommend this to other guests. This is the perfect place and was a perfect stay. Chris and Ann, thank you!!!

Really good value, very good breakfasts, helpful advice from management and fairly central to railway station, coach station and town. Would recommend.

Very friendly hosts, happily prepared early breakfast when I needed to start work early. Even the dog makes you feel at home.

A Place to Recommend!

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: Quite simply Everything!! A home away from home
Cons: Nothing leaps to mind which is laways a good thing!
Location: A few minutes walk from the centre of Torquay and even closer to the Riviera Leisure Centre. New restaurants and bars at th bottom of the road
Not really one for writing reviews on accommodation as I work away a lot and one hotel/B & B blends in to another. However a last minute break with the family found us booking a family room at the Ashfield. Always a bit different when it's the family and not just you so was a little nervous especially as we booked sort of last minute. However no need to worry!!! Ann & Chris are superb and make you feel welcome from minute one, can't do enough for you!! Very relaxed atmosphere. Clean & tidy rooms. Good breakfast. Easy walking distance to Torquay centre. Last but not least there's Candy, the family dag, who I defy anyone not to fall in love with, dog lover or not. Certainly a place we'll be going back to and would recommend to others, which is high praise indeed from me!!

Our stay at Ashfield was a delight in every way. We were welcome, comfy and in a great location. Our only improvement would be the shower! It needed to be a little more powerful. Overall a great holiday, thanks x
