"Very nicely situated on a nice part of the West Frio river. Beautiful drive getting there from either direction and easy scenic drive to Leakey and Garner. Wonderful shady porch with plenty of seating and a picnic table to eat meals. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Great smoker/grill and a separate fire pit. There is really good stargazing out here, bring your telescope. Good fishing in the river and there is live bait in town at Josh's. Danny was very communicative and helpful!"

"My adult kiddos, our teenager and my parents all came out for a short getaway. This property was exactly what we needed. House was perfect when it came to space for everyone. Clean and spacious. Beds were supper comfy. The river was absolutely gorgeous, clean and clear. The kids loved being on their inner tubes and going down the rapids during the day and kayaking at night. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the downtime, parents relaxing in water. while the kiddos being kids. Definitely will be back. 10/10 recommend"

"We enjoyed our stay! The river was absolutely beautiful after the recent rains (July 2026). We went down to the closest water crossing where the water was flowing pretty good and had the best time. The kids (2y-11y) loved exploring, swimming, and floating. The house was perfect for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space. The hosts were incredibly attentive to us and we appreciated their quick replies for some things came up. We would definitely stay again!"
