Such a beautiful and peaceful getaway from the city. We love the large porch for relaxing and birdwatching. The fully fenced yard is a huge plus for our dog. The house itself is comfortable, clean and well maintained. There are lovely new showers installed since our last visit. Our favorite activity is chilling by the fire with a good book. The host is lovely and makes the entire process easy and welcoming. We definitely recommend Ash Creek and look forward to visiting again!!" The seclusion is great, the river access is super nice, and the house is very functional. A couple minor items worth mentioning for certain prospective guests: 1) river access is not walking distance, requires the side-by-side or a truck but is very close by; 2) the house is on the main highway and there is some minor road noise occassionally...did not impact our enjoyment. The outdoor patio was really nice as well. We played pickleball, kayaked on the river, enjoyed all of our meals outside under the big oak trees and marveled at the stars by the firepit at night. I only have a few suggestions: the outside table and bar were dirty. The bar table had a huge pile of rocks on it and was covered in leaves and dust and there were no fire pit tools. But these were just minor things and did not cause us to lose any relaxing time. I think a small table top jenga game would be a nice touch also. Overall, its a wonderful property and we want to go back soon."
