The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was very nicely furnished. There was only one light for the dining/ living room which did not provide enough light for reading in the living room in the evening. The only way to turn on the light in the kitchen/ living room was with a pull cord above the kitchen counter which was beyond my reach. I had to use a chair to reach it. The bathroom was extremely small. The shower control was not secured to the wall and was a little difficult to turn on. We did not have hot water for two days which was very inconvenient in 90 degree weather. We not know where the washer/ dryer were located until we encountered the cleaning lady on our last day who told us the location. A notebook or paper explaining where it was would have been very helpful plus more info about how to use Raku , garbage removal(garbage cans in street three days) ,information about the area. We stayed in a different rental in Plymouth for a few months in the fall and wanted to make sure we were able to walk to town and support/experience the small shops now that COVID isn’t as big of an impact. This fit the bill. We walked to and from town multiple times a day and enjoyed the temperate weather. A couple of drawbacks: I didn’t notice any knives for prep/cooking - only butter and steak knives. This wasn’t a big deal for us, and the rest of the kitchen was very well appointed - plenty of pots/pans, and enough cups/plates/etc for our stay. The bigger of the two drawbacks was the size of the shower. Likely due to the restrictions of the floor plan of the house, the shower suffered a bit. It was overall fine, and there was plenty of hot water (and aforementioned fluffy towels), but it was tight. Overall, we would stay here again. The furniture and accommodations were comfortable and the finishes were well thought out. Best pillows I’ve ever slept on in a rental.
