Overall impression was that the hotel is very clean, neat and tidy. Breakfast is amazing with a large variety menu to choose from certainly the highlight of our stay. Roof top bar in my opinion was expensive compared to others we attended, staff a little abrupt, we couldn’t sit where we wanted to as a couple we had to sit a 2 person tables although the one we wanted to sit at stayed empty for the duration of our stay. Location is good if you wish to walk off all those breakfast calories, close to the stunning Arts, Science and Oceanographic buildings. 30 minute walk to the port area of the city and similar distance from the city centre. Not alit of nightlife around the hotel, taxi rank is situated right outside the hotel’s main entrance. I previously stayed at the same hotel in Madrid, which is why I booked again, and I’m so glad I did. The rooms were very clean and we were really happy with our room type. Room service was quick (the burger was great!), and we also had a lovely steak dinner in the restaurant upstairs. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the little touches like sweets around the hotel were a nice surprise. I felt very well looked after and would definitely stay again.
