The hotel is very modern, comfortable and nicely designed. Absolutely the best thing is that is literally half a block from Paddington station, from which you can get direct to and from Heathrow, not to mention to the Circle and District LInes. It is also right next to some fine eateries - just across the street from a wonderful Middle Eastern place, Ya Hala. Also some good pubs.

This is a great hotel, located conveniently in central London providing easy walking to many destinations. Even though it is near Trafalgar Square, it is tucked down a fairly quiet street so noises from traffic and late-night pub patrons is not an issue. The staff is wonderfully accommodating, and were all a pleasure to interact with. Our room had a mini-fridge inside, which was perfect for storing some late night treats or takeaway food from any of the nearby restaurants.
I usually travel solo to London on business, but this time I brought my family and it was perfect to have adjoining rooms that we could open and use as a suite.

Facility was nice, room was clean, breakfast was excellent. Beds were not very comfortable, but staff did what they could to help. TV was ancient, not working well. Bathroom was large and nice. This was the first hotel I've experienced in ages that still charges for internet.

We stayed here for one night during the Edinburgh film festival for my boyfriends 40th birthday and we were overall satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel, it has good amenities/facilities and food is get generally quite good. we got assigned a really nice bright room with good views and decent size, I know this was a good room as I asked to move to another closer to reception and it was awful it was super small dark and dingy we hated it so moved back to our original room fairly quickly!! The breakfast staff in particular were excellent!! Janak the chef really went above and beyond to help me with gluten free choices and was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very nice. The only slight discrepancy I have with the hotel is that the afternoon tea was disappointing, I requested some gluten free scones months before arriving on the booking form and was really looking forward to some as the Hilton in Manchester was able to do some for me but was told when we arrived it just wasn't possible to do with no reason why. Some of my sandwiches looked really thrown together in a rush and were not presented nicely. They didn't explain Anything about the different little cakes only mentioned what was in the sandwiches whereas in Manchester they took time to go through each one and explain. The waiting staff were off chatting in a corner and weren't overly attentive/friendly. I didn't feel like it was a special afternoon tea for his birthday we've had better.

"Great location, but don't stay here for the food"
Lovely staff, especially Thomas, the Concierge. Location is great, near train station. Small room, but it's the food that's the biggest challenge. Powdered eggs are not acceptable in any restaurant, especially the Waldorf. Lunch and dinner were equally disappointing.

Typical Hilton professionalism which show cases their years of experience and understanding what the traveler wants. You get the impression that if something did go wrong, the staff would be aghast and it would be because of a mistake rather than a systemic problem.
