"Nowhere near as nice as the Waterloo Place hotel"
Although the same chain, and looking modern from the outside, this hotel is actually just a very 60s building that's been superficially remodelled. The room we had was very old and tired, although with a lovely modern bathroom. No aircon or control over the room temperature, old windows one of which didn't open, and the lifts in the property are terrifying. Despite being on the fourth floor we used the stairs as much as possible. So for what you get, it's very expensive, and rather disappointing.

    "Weekend exploring! "
What a fab place. Room was small but the bed was big so my daughter and I had no clashes during the night. Had great fun with the technology (lights, blinds, tv). The bar/lounge was amazing and we bought back some friends so we could show it off! Was in Glasgow for the first time with my daughter to check out the art, shopping and a sneaky visit to Edinburgh and I wanted to stay somewhere a little more quirky than normal. This is very contemporary and quirky!

Room was a bit stuffy so I slept with the window open. Seagulls were incredibly loud all night long, even with window shut. Other than that, the hotel was great.
