This is a hotel in an old terraced building across from Hyde Park in the west end of London. Rooms are very small, bathrooms even smaller. Rooms now have A/C which on my previous visits was not the case. They have also added an iron and small ironing board where previously they only had the old fashioned trouser press. There is a safe in the room but a small fridge would be a nice addition. Best part is the location. An easy walk to Paddington station which takes you to and from Heathrow airport. Hyde park and Kensington Gardens are close by and a 20 minute walk through the gardens gets you to British Museum and the V&A. Lancaster Gate tube station is a 2 minute walk and you are then on the Central Line along Oxford Street for shopping.

Staff was pleasant, efficient, and helpful. Room was large, clean, well-appointed. King bed was excellent and bathroom facilities clean and functional. I used the gym which has all kinds of cardio, weight machines, and free weights. The terminal was a 3 minute walk.
Used the restaurant for dinner and it was fine.

Beautiful hotel with stunning interior design. We booked a standard room in the main hotel which was incredibly small for the price, however the room and bathroom design was so lovely we couldn't complain! Try to request a room on the opposite side to the train station as we were right next to it which was very noisy, you could hear trains and announcements very clearly. The breakfast at the hotel was nice but a little on the cold side. The car park was very small considering it is such a large hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, only a 5 minute walk to all the shops/restaurants in the city.

Good service, staff were very helpful and professional. Great breakfast, not too busy even at 8.30 Saturday morning. Location very good for exploring central York. Interior fairly standard. Toddler bed we requested was a solid, single bed which was great. No problems!
