Lovely hotel, some customer service not great!!

A beautiful Hotel in a lovely location.
Overall I was very pleased with my stay, the room was amazing with original toilet and shower/bath.
There were two 'customer service' issues that did affect my overall opinion of the hotel, otherwise everything esle was wonderful.
I went for a wander, and found that there was a bar near the leisure club that you could eat and drink in. I didnt fancy eating in here, (very loud wth groups of golfers enjoying post golf drinks) so asked at reception if there was anywhere else to eat. The response was - 'there is a restaurant downstairs but you have to pre-book! You can go down and check when they are open!' - Firstly if there are spaces available why dont they ask you when you check in, and secondly any other hotel would offer to check for you. Turns out the restaurant was nearly empty and the food was delcicious.
The second incident was after I checked out. When I checked out the printer failed, so they managed to check me out and take my payment but couldnt give me a copy. I asked them to email it to me ASAP as I neded to get my expenses in that day. This wasnt the issue.
By mid afternoon nothing had arrived so I called the hotel.I was told by a very rude lady that the system had gone down so they were uable to check anyone out, and they were working through checking people out and charging them.Given that I had checked out and paid this was not my issue. I had to call again on the Saturday as still nothing arrived!!
