The property was dated, the room was freezing, the heating didn't work, the food was cold and of poor selection. We understand it was out of season but that is no excuse.
The scenery was beautiful.
The receptionist told us that the swimming pool was a private pool?
Walls a little thin leading to noise disturbance from the next room. Overall, nice place, but not quite as restful as it should be

It was a good stay, parking is cheap if you want to use their space… restaurant food was not appealing due to the limited selection. Rooms are nice but a little bit old. Breakfast is very ordinary and selection is just ok.
Unfortunately I didn’t get the room I paid for. Despite showing them my reservation for a Twin Bed they insisted on giving me a room with a small bed…waisted one hour of my time on discussion with the hotel. The guy at the reception was nice and trying to be helpful. The breakfast was very basic and the service was bad.
The location of the hotel is pretty nice and you’re just in front of the beach.
My bathroom was very old and needed a renovation. Overall it’s really loud and you can listen to the neighbors. Wouldn’t give them 4 stars…and wouldn’t repeat the stay neither.

This was just a one night stop on our way back from Barcelona to Alicante where we live. What a great little hotel. Amazing location and views, very friendly and attentive staff and a great breakfast as well.
Hotel Flamingo is probably the nicest hotel in la Ampolla, the room is nice, the bathroom is also nice. The only thing I did not like is the way you can hear the noise coming from the adyacente rooms, you can hear the conversation in full detail. But the rest was great, breakfast was also very good. Would not hesitate to estay again.
Great location, there is secure parking underground for a small fee. Breakfast was great, staff were friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the room had adjoining door, therefore not soundproofed plus room was above breakfast area.
Apart from that very good.
Unclear address and check in place, otherwise good
Restaurant was closed in the evening, due a low season. I had to walk to the village to get something to eat. Otherwise everything was great! Address was difficult and no clear place or any sign to park for check in. After driving around the block came back to original place and walked in.
It’s my second time staying here. Nice hotel. Nice area. The only thing that was missing was an iron and iron board. They didn’t have one for customers, but they graciously offered me some help with the industrial one they have for their business. Be sure to try a gin&tonic made with the local gin “harbour” you can find it at local restaurants and bars
Totally ignored by reception staff on arrival. Thereafter good with all other staff members we met excellent.
Room allocated roof window only. Oppressive.
Food and service excellent and great value for money.
I stay in a lot of hotels across each year travelling on business. I can't get anywhere near the Costa's apart from in Winter and it is lovely to be able to and very pleasant to be in this hotel too. Provided all that I needed and I undertand why parking facilities are too limited to be worth expecting... it's not what this hotel is about. No problem as the streets are so quiet anyway in January my vehicle was not in any danger.
Very good Hotel. We have stayed here before, and it hadn't changed at all. Rooms are comfortable, and the sea view is superb. The staff are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. I would recommend Hotel Flamingo to any-one who wanted to visit L'Ampolla
Friendly and modern hotel all facilities excellent
Evrything about this hotel was good. A warm welcome , understated but very attentive staff always ready to help. Being English i do like teamaking facilities on the room and there were none. I do not hold this against the hotel because not everybody requires this Perhaps a compromise would be the opportunity to rent a kettle at least and then thise who would like this facility could have it at a reasonable price without the hotel having to purchase 102 kettles !
Overall a lovely stay in a very nice hotel. Thank you
The hotel is modern and bright, on a small headland overlooking the sea,yet only five minutes walk to the centre of the fishing village with bars, restaurants etc
The breakfast is a buffet with hot food as well as the continental selection and is very good. Evening meals are in the restaurant overlooking the sea and are mainly
A three course set menu with three selections on each course. The a la carte is available but is a small selection only.
The rooms are a good size with air conditioning and free wi fi. Some have side sea views from the balcony. There are two small pools indoor and outdoor. Parking is limited but available free in the adjacent streets.
Excellent from start to finish. A warm and helpful check-in, a clean and comfortable room with good heating/air-con. Secure Underground parking. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Easy check out. Perfect.
Hotel was in a great location, a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms were clean, quite basic, but fine! Shower was great, and the partial sea view with balcony was lovely! A bonus was the outside restaurant, with great views and good food. All staff were pleasant and helpful, we wished we had booked another night.
Underground parking is useful and quite cheap at 4.50 euros per night. Would be nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. Apart from that very good stay, nice balcony to sit on and great views.
We had a one night stay after a day of driving. Staff was friendly!
Boardwalk was wonderful to stroll along!
Our goal was to enjoy the beach view, obtain good food and sleep on a great bed! All accomplished!
We really loved our two night stay at this hotel. Location was perfect, the atmosphere was great and the staff welcoming. We ate in the restaurant one evening. We were very hungry having to wait until 8pm (normally eat earlier). The food was delicious and reasonable. We had the three course menu. We both thought the portions were too small. Not so the breakfast - very plentiful.
really good hotel, nice welcome from staff, breakfast very good, did not use the restaurant so can't comment, but plenty of places a shortish walk away.Good hotel for our dog,but the car park is cramped.
We were here on our honeymoon and were in L'ampolla during the "off-season" in late September. Hotel staff was friendly, room was clean, location of hotel was great!
Room was a suite on the corner. Great view of the sea with two balconies...one on each of the Walls on the corner. Town was clean as well as hotel. Parking nearby at street level and free. Grocery store within walking distance of hotel.
This was an overnight stop en route from Spain to the UK. The hotel is in a lovely position on the seafront in L'Ampolla and offers superb views of the bay and harbour. It is easy to find from the AP7 motorway. There is a pleasant walk along the sea front in both directions from the hotel. We have stayed here before and would recommend it for its position and overall standard. This time we ate dinner in the restaurant. The emphasis is on seafood but we chose a steak. We found the food perfectly acceptable but unexciting. The restaurant lacked atmosphere as it was not busy. Breakfast was a buffet and very good with a wide selection of food. The main fault with this hotel is that it is impossible to pull up directly outside the front entrance. This makes loading/unloading difficult. There is direct lift access from the underground car park but we have used this once and would never park there again. It is badly designed and very difficult to drive into. Out of season there is plenty of street parking at the back of the hotel but this means a long trek with luggage from car to hotel.

By the sea.
Very pleasant, the service is good, the rooms are modern, all with a balcony and a ocean view.
Hotel was really good. very clean Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Location to Llampolla was excellent.
The only thing that would have made it better would be to have coffee/tea facilities in the hotel room but apart from that would definitely use again.

Great location
On arrival the hotel reception initially apologised that they were unable to upgrade our room (we had no reason to assume they would) but it was explained that the room we were in on the floor that was designated had not as yet been upgraded but that was the only floor available which was not being worked on yet. This was not a problem for us at all but the room we were given was quite tired looking (cracks in the walls). However, it was very clean and extremely comfortable in a very nice location. Breakfast was included in our room price and it was very good. We also had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant on the night of our arrival. Would be very happy to stay there again.
Excelente hotel, ubicado frente al mar, en una zona tranquila. Ideal para descansar. Habitación amplia y moderna. Buena cama. Trato exquisito por parte del personal..
