Worst Hotel Experience Ever
Room cleanliness is '0' and the toilet is worst. Not properly maintained the utilities inside the room. The electric water kettle seems to be never ever cleaned after it is kept inside the room. The curtains are full of dust. Very much disappointing. I would never ever suggest this hotel.

Walking distance for visa finger printing.
Had booked a deluxe room but got a room which was Smelly, dirty sheets , torn pillowcase. Ended up paying more to get a super deluxe room which was ok. Breakfast was nice and fresh and the staff was helpful. Hotel is getting repairs done so it is a little dusty and noisy.

Nothing special
it was ok for a one night stay. Furniture looked really dated, used and damaged. Bathroom really needs a makeover. A dirty bucket in the bathroom instead of shower is not acceptable.

Try to avoid this hotel if you get good options.
Overall stay was ok but there were few things which annoyed me. I found the lady at the reception was bit rude. There was a mouse in our room which frequently created problems for us. Bathroom curtains were not very clean. There were some positive aspects as well which I noticed during my stay. They have a check in time of 12 pm but on our request, we were allowed to check in from 9 am. Rest of the Hotel staff were decent, good and cooperative. Food quality during breakfast, lunch and dinner was average.

Worst Place to Stay Ever
Except the very good location, this place is the worst I have ever stayed .It does not look like a hotel at all.Old building with very dirty washrooms and furniture.Hotel cleaning staff told me all the furniture is more than 11-12 years old and never vacuumed.I tried to look at all available rooms but none was good.I never even imagined hotel sofas can be so dirty and torn out in a condition to be put in garbage .I asked for re-cleaning of washrooms but they looked same afterwards. It's actually a one star hotel and when I asked for hotel rates (receptionist was always busy to answer your question),I was told you are staying in a two thousand indian bucks hotel. So,I din't except anything.I would never pay more than that (location is good) and stay only if to stay overnight for sleep.Pros include location and good hot indian breakfast included.

OK, but will try somewhere else next time
I stayed at the Chirag Residency for 5 nights in January and i thought the hotel was ok. My room was a bit shabby, but it was pretty big & clean with a nice flat screen TV + cable channels, and the free internet was good. The hotel is on a very busy main road and the windows in my room didn't fit too well, so it was quite noisy during the day and night. Also, the old heater in my room caught fire, but was quickly replaced by a newer model which worked very well. The complimentary breakfast was very average - fresh fruit, cornflakes, toast, tea/coffee/juice (+ various Indian dishes) - although i thought the room service food was excellent and well priced. The hotel reception orders taxis for guests and the taxi service was good/efficient but expensive - you pay approx double the true price. The hotel staff were generally good, although one of the guys at reception tried to rip me off by adding his own 200 rupees surcharge on top of the already inflated taxi fare. He even argued with me when i challenged him! The hotel is a 5-10 mins walk away from Nehru Place which has a Metro station, banks, various restaurants (Ruby's Bar & Grill, Dominos Pizza, McDonalds...etc) and there's a Costa Coffee close by too. Overall, Chirag Residency is a decent hotel, but nothing special...
