Fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, wifi, screened porch with gas fireplace, dining area, games, books, and all the amenities of home (linens are provided). The flat screen TV in the living room is equipped with DVD Player and Roku so make sure you bring your streaming log in's and passwords! \* Laundry in basement (same code as front door) adult guests only please for use of washer and dryer only. This house is located in Powder Horn Mountain in Deep Gap, NC. Within the gates of Powder Horn are three lakes, a campground on the river, horseshoe pits, grills, fire circles, clubhouse, fitness center, community pool (open during the summer), game room (pool table, foosball, ping pong), playground, tennis court/pickleball, half basketball court, disc golf, a chapel, and miles upon miles of awesome hiking trails right out your front door- including water falls!!! We are about 25 mins to Appalachian State University and Main Street in Boone but only about 13 miles. We are about 18 -25 miles to all the ski resorts or about 45 mins to an hour. Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are each about 35-45 mins from our front gate. The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 7 miles away with an access point at the top of Elk Creek Rd on old 421\. The closest grocery store is Food Lion located at the intersection of 421 and Old 421 across from Tractor Supply. Grab groceries before you arrive! Elk Creek is just outside the front gate of Powder Horn and is a state stocked trout stream this is an anglers paradise make sure you get your fishing license, you will find it is some of the best fishing around! Local wineries and breweries abound including Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Booneshine Brewing, Grandfather Vineyards, Banner Elk Winery and so many others. So much to do!!!! Make sure to also check out the Lil' Hidden Creek Gem mine located about 1 mile past the back gate of Powder Horn. Call ahead and they will get mining buckets ready for the little ones! \- No Smoking \- No Parties/Events \- Pets allowed - Dogs only MAX 2\. A $50 Pet Fee PER PUP will be charged after booking \- A signed rental agreement is required to fully confirm this booking. \- ALL Trash must be bagged in large kitchen bags, including pup pick up bags. $25 fee per bag if it doesn't fit in the provided outside trash container. Check in was a breeze and exactly how the host explained. We spent Saturday in blowing rock which was a short drive away. Saturday night we made a fire in the outdoor fire pit and grilled steaks for dinner. The host was so gracious and let us check out on Sunday after 12 so we could attend church that was located in the resort. We will definitely return for a longer stay next time ##### John J.
