The staff here was awesome. The girl at check-in was a bit rude, it seemed like I interrupted her and was a disturbance. The evening clerk as well as the morning we super welcoming. I did note at check-out that the grab bar in room 101 is very loose and I am thankful I didn't get hurt. Room was spacious! Hot tub wasn't usable which sucked but we didn't have time anyways lol

Check in was easy and simple. Staff was friendly from when we checked in to when we checked out. My family and I made it to breakfast towards the end of it and the staff made sure we had enough food for our family and even put out more eggs for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was disgusting- scrambled egg on office chair, stains on floors, walls and bedding. Felt generally unclean could barely sleep because of it. Upon arrival I had to bend the inner door lock plate back into place in order for the door to lock- not even sure how something like that happens. But hey it’s affordable.

Jacksboro bound, Bridgeport stay.
Nice place to stay when traveling to Jacksboro. Nothing fancy, but has everything you need. The breakfast is always good and the front ladies are the best!

The bed was so hard and uncomfortable! The linens on the bed were so old that they felt like I was laying on grit. I would not recommend this facility. The check in lady was very unfriendly.

Property looked much better from the outside. The rooms were and beds were decent but the public areas could use a remodel. The breakfast was a bit disapointing. The staff was shorthanded which made service poor. This could be a real nice place with a bit of attention. I would stay again however.

The worst hotel experience EVER!!!!!!!!
Dirty rooms. Bed sheets messed up. Trash in trash cans. People up in front of my door. Horrible front desk employee. Breakfast was trash. The juice machine didn't work. Eggshells in the eggs.

Room looked clean but floor and countrrs had a sticky feel to it as if something was spilled then the mopped up with a dirty mop/ cloth. Not sure bed linens were changed. Found a couple of dirty oil stain/spots on sheets about the size of a softball.

Average stay at La Quinta
We stayed a Saturday night. Check in was fairly quick with keys that didn’t work the first round and after some persuasion that the keys were tried in every direction, we were given a new key that worked. We stayed in a large suite with very little furnishings and a lot of waisted space with dark gray walls and little art work. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, there was no shampoo or conditioner and only one coffee cup. The breakfast was a typical waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage that were okay but needed restocking with no one in sight to clean up or reload. The halls were filled with mismatching temperature/color LED light bulbs. The elevator could stand a good cleaning. It’s not a bad place to stay but expected a little more from a Wyndham property and a place whose exterior looks appealing in a small town.

The room was not that clean as far as carpet. Bathroom clean enough. The light at entrance not working. Lamp on far side of room not working. Bed was comfortable and 2nd floor was quite. Hotel rate was very good.

One of the few hotels in this town. Pool had not been cleaned out, mossy green! Breakfast selections were okay, but no hot water available for tea drinkers. The front corner of the overhang on the drive thru had been hit in December. We were told that the insurance had not paid....we prayed it wouldn't fall & pull the front of the bldg off! Staff was helpful & friendly!

I had much more to say in my 30 minute call to Wyndham properties but do not ever stay here. Go to other hotels in the Decatur area. This is a perfect example of a place that looks 1000 times better in the pictures than it really is. If I had family talking about staying there, I would pay them not to. The place is dirty and extremely poorly maintained. The pool area was dirty and unusable. There’s poor caulking around the tub and mildew in the cracks and splattered either spaghetti sauce or blood on the bathroom wall that was never cleaned. We checked in at 3:30 and checked out at 6 PM and went to another hotel in the area and spend another $500 for two rooms for two nights. That’s how bad it was. My only mistake is that I did not read reviews before I went there.

LOVED the size and cleanliness of my room. Everything in my room was great. The breakfast was nice. The very few workers that I interacted with were very nice. Thank you for that. It's the property as a whole that I'd remark on. The lack of care is unprofessional and tells the community at large that La Quinta ultimately doesn't care about the people that stay there or the community that supports La Quinta. 1) When I was looking for a hotel my family and friends that live in Bridgeport all knew and made fun of the huge column that was hit by a truck and is leaning terribly, but the management won't get it fixed. HUGE eye soar and major blemish on your reputation there. 2) Why is the chandelier in the eating area missing so many bulbs? These are not expensive and only take a few minutes to install. Just looks very sloppy and apathetic. 3) the trash can lids in the eating area get food smeared on them and therefore are disgusting. 4) I know you get a lot of trucks there but you've got to clean the clumpy mud out of the parking lot. looks trashy and lacks pride. 5) Having welcoming employees around would make everything nicer. The place seems deserted. 6) The water pressure in the shower is absolutely paramount to a good shower. Why don't you have any? But none of these things made my bed less comfortable (although the hard pillows did) or ruined my stay there. I was comfortable at La Quinta Inn.
