Keepers cottages are delighted to offer Chalet No.5 located in Kingsdown holiday park. The long-established holiday park located just minutes from the beach, benefits from an indoor pool, tennis courts, playpark, restaurant & bar. The unusual A frame style chalet has been completely renovated by the owners to give it a bright, contemporary style. The cool grey & white décor gives the property lovely seaside feel & there are wooden floors throughout. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens with glimpses of the sea from the upper floor, Chalet No.5 is the perfect spot to base yourself for a holiday in Deal.
Entrance – Ground Floor

Reception Room
Enter via a raised terrace in to the bright, & deceptively spacious open plan reception room. There is a choice of comfortable seating, smart TV & occasional tables.
The clever layout flows through to a smart, newly installed galley kitchen with cooker, washing machine & ample space to prepare meals.

Kitchen & Dining Room
There is a further social space beyond the kitchen with a dining table, chairs & bench to easily seat 6 people. The under-counter fridge, freezer & drinks cooler are conveniently located in the dining area.
Access to the rear, private decked terrace is possible from the dining room.

Bathroom
The modern ground floor bathroom has a handbasin, bath with electric shower & WC.

Ground Floor Twin Bedroom
The first twin bedroom is located on the ground floor to the rear of the property & has fresh white bunk beds & storage. Access to the rear, private terrace is possible from the bedroom.

First Floor
Wooden stairs lead you to the first floor, a small landing leads you to the master bedroom at the rear with a double bed & ample storage.
The second, front-facing twin bedroom, has twin beds, ample storage & tantalising glimpses of the sea!

Safe and unique
We had a great time in Kingsdown holiday homes. The property was exactly as described. The management were always available on the phone and very helpful. Property was squeaky clean on arrival. Every little detail was thought of, such as stretch film, wine cooler, washing up liquid, utensils of all kinds. Children loved playing in the grounds, the park residents were decent families, unlike some other holiday parks, no trouble makers. All covid safety measures were sufficiently taken. Children's playground had signs and a sanitiser installed. Likewise the reception had markings and hand sanitizer at the entrance. I was actually asked to stay outside on one occasion where another person was inside for an enquiry. The park management were very helpful on an incident we had to do with some children. Nothing major but still they migitated the issue and kept us on constant feedback. Internet was adsl on the property we stayed. Measured around 3mbps. Enough for general browsing but not for streaming. I had 3 mobile lines with me to ensure i could work during my stay, and the best line was EE with around 30-40mbps, followed by o2 qnd vodafone. Even with Vodafone we were able to stream netflix and the likes easily. The seaside was a short walk away. However the beach was shingles and not as nice as a sandy beach. Tesco extra was 15 min drive away, large Sainsbury's and coop within 10 mins. Local markets were also available. Deal was 10 mins drive away. Very peaceful neighborhood, even late night it felt and looked very safe. Definitely will visit again, summer or winter!

Einfach ausgestattetes Chalet in einer wunderschönen Gegend
Wir sind eine Familie mit 4 Kindern und haben zum 2. Mal ein Ferienhaus in einem englischen Ferienpark gebucht. Die Lage des Ferienpark ist großartig, direkt am Meer, sogar mit Meerblick an den meisten Stellen des Ferienparks. Unser Chalet ist recht einfach ausgestattet, insbesondere die Terrasse und Veranda bieten wenig Möglichkeiten, draußen zu sitzen. Leider gab es keine Spülmaschine wie in der Beschreibung angegeben , wobei das Spülen für 6 Personen ggfs. noch gehen würde.. allerdings gab es nur ein Geschirrtuch. Nach anfangs guter Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Camilla wurde unsere Frage nach weitern Trockentüchern danach nicht mehr beantwortet. Insgesamt ist die Sauberkeit des Hauses , insbesondere das Geschirr und Veranda und Terrasse. sicher verbesserungswürdig. Insgesamt haben wir uns auf der Ferienanlage wohlgefühlt dank Pool und Tennisplatz und der schon erwähnten Lage der Anlage.
