The location was really good for what we needed. The price fair. We did however have some issues, unfortunately. We had asked for adjoining rooms. Were set up initially, but when we went into our rooms. One of the rooms had no heat. The heater was torn apart and laying on the floor. We were moved to a room close the other person in our party. Breakfast area was pretty unclean. The check out was really slow, due to be overcharged. It was finally resolved, but the front desk had to call for assistance and didn't seam to understand how to operate the system.

Room was filthy. Pillows were yellow. Bathroom was not clean. Bathroom had 2 holes in the wall with pieces to hide the holes that didn’t stay on the wall. Room was freezing. Beds were solid and painful to even sit on. Hallways were dirty & had blood stains on the carpet. Hallways were cold and dark. Pool was freezing and messy. There were no towels. It took 20 minutes before someone came to the front desk to check us in.

We enjoyed our stay, kids loved the water park. Only thing was the beds are super hard, we all woke up sore, the walls had chip painting and our heat was off so our room was freezing and took all night to warm up but other than that i wouldnt mind staying again

Front staff was not personable but checked us in, and changed the room to the first floor when requested. The room had quite a few spider webs, and the grout was very stained but otherwise the room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was acceptable aside from there being no water provided and they ran out of food and coffee quickly and they didn't seem adequately staffed Saturday to get it refilled in a timely manner. Overall a decent safe hotel that I would stay again if the price remains low while passing through quickly. That said this could be an excellent place to stay due to the water park and on site restaurant, if the cleanliness, upkeep and staffing were addressed we would pay more and consider this a weekend destination. Certainly uncapitalized potential unfortunately.

Shower had good pressure. Room was not vacuumed, not sure if my sheets were changed before I stayed due to hairs in the bed. Outdated room. Hallways and stairwells were filthy.

The night shift people weren't very friendly. Room wasn't terrible other than i don't understand why some rooma have microwaves and some don't. There was vomit on a door going to the outside I asked front desk to clean up cause we had to walk over it and look at it on the glass everytime we left and the night shift worker said she'd get it taken care of and didn't. So talked to the guy the next day he told me she said she cleaned it up which she didn't so they took care of it right away.

Concrete around pool dirty with hair and food crumbs, dogs barking across hall, garbage and chip crumbs on floor in room, tub drains slow, sofa bed extremely worn with springs poking out, dirty sheet on sofa bed, extreme chemicals in pool that made all kids eyes hurt. Just an overall bad stay. Won’t come again.

None of the outside doors are locked, so anyone can get into the hotel, our room was on the first floor of the hotel-the windows did not have a screen or a a lock, the tub was rusty, there were cobwebs in the corners of the room, the toilet was running, and the room did not feel like it had been cleaned very well. We checked in and checked right back out, left immediately!

WiFi does not work in Rooms. Rooms were very dirty upon arrival. You only get two watermark bracelets for a room that sleeps 5? Overall, not great. Would not stay again even for the water park.

Hotel is definitely not what it used to be. It is dated, and in severe need of many updates. Pool area is fun for kids, but dirty and in need of updates. Tons of tiny gnats/fruit fly like bugs in pool area around tables with food. Ick! Sheetrock is crumbling and on floor in hallways, toilet seats loose and not attached, loud squeaky doors in hotel rooms. Continental breakfast was blah, except for the waffles and cereal. The gal at the front desk was a rockstar and so friendly and helpful… and pretty sure she worked nonstop from 8 am Saturday to noon on Sunday. WOW!

The best part was of course the waterpark for the grandkids. We have stayed at this place in the past and it has really gone downhill. The room had garbage left from the people before us. At breakfast they ran out of everything so very disappointed about that also. Will come back to swim but not stay

The staff were nice and checked us in quick. The hotel only comes with 2 wristbands for the water park, so if you have more than 2 guests staying you have to purchase extra bands for $4 each with hotel discount. The water park is pretty fun. The rooms were outdated. Our bathtub had hard time draining every time we took a shower. It was little dusty everywhere. The walls could use a repainting. Other than that, we had a decent stay.

People are haters. This place wasn’t even bad fr. Justice for brookings inn. Only issue was the pillows were dead but we slept good anyway.

They have tried to do some updating to the property but it was done poorly. Facility was not very clean… they did have a sign in the lobby saying they were short staffed. Attached Mexican restaurant was good. Pool didn’t open until 10am so we didn’t even get to hot tub since checkout is at 10 as well. It was $60 and a bed.

This property is clearly in need of cleaning/updating. There is some evidence that updates/renovations are in process but that doesn't speak to the cleanliness of our room (trash under and behind the couch) and/or the holes in our bedding. Staff at check in were rude so we didn't attempt to get new bedding. We'll choose a different hotel next visit.

Front desk staff was great at check-in, but couldn't find any staff after that. NONE OF THE EXTERIOR DOORS LOCK, just anyone can walk in any door. My room was dirty, carpet had food on it under the tables, like they only vacuumed the middle of the room. The bathroom had stains in the shower. All vents had chunks of dust and grime on them. NO WIFI or internet in my room. Had a smart TV, but couldn't use it because, no Internet. Couldn't find any staff to talk to about that. Traveled with family and they were in separate rooms and those rooms had all the same issues as mine. Peeling paint in the halls and in the rooms. Everything was humid because the water park is in the middle of the building. I had pool side view because our group had kids with and it made my room smell like chlorine (like my lungs hurt). People banging on room doors in the middle of the night, again couldn't find any staff to deal with it, no answer at the front desk. Large mouse traps in the hallways and large stains on the carpets (hallways and rooms). Beds were fine, but clearly older mattresses, on mine springs squeaked on 1 side. Limited parking at times due to the restaurant in the same building. We came back Saturday night and had to park at the gas station next door until the restaurant goers started to leave. If I wasn't the ride for other family members who didn't want to deal with paying for another room elsewhere, I would have left after the 1st night and stayed somewhere else the 2nd night.

The rooms are outdated, dirty, bedding had stains/rips, musty smell, bathrooms are dirty, light bulbs out. The staff were hard to find, and just not friendly on check in.

Exit 5 &6 were completely blocked by drifts. Exit 6 was propped open by snow and the -40 temps were making the hallway unbearable. I did let the front desk know upon check in. I used the conference entrance which was ok. Front desk very pleasant at checkin. La Catina staff very friendly and kind.
